He should be thanking his lucky stars as FSU 'barely' got a slap on wrist here. Anything short of bowl bans, TV bans, and conference championship bans is nothing. Losing 6 schollies over the next 3 years and 4 years of 'double secret probation' isn't that tough to deal with. Hopefully, the NCAA decides to increase the penalties b/c of the appeal...which is a very real possibility.

The penalties were a joke, and Bowden will figure out a way to smooth it over with recruits. If the NCAA had any 'tea bag' at all, FSU would have received a bowl ban, TV ban, and/or conference championship ban. Losing 6 schollies over 3 years is merely a slap on the wrist.

SCar's recruiting class is nothing but 'smoke and mirrors'. Sure Holloman, Giles, D. Jeffery & Gilmore are solid gets that any program would be happy with...but they were also the only relevant signings. There were 8 other kids without an offer from another relevant D1 program; 4 JUCO's; and 2 holdover's from last year. There wasn't a single OL of any relevance.....good job considering that the SCAR OL was terrible last year, and you just lost your 2 best lineman.

Believe me, nobody is scared of SCar. You have awful QB's...and awful OL, lost your leading rusher, your best and only WR of relevance, your best TE, and 3 best defensive players. 7 wins will be a miracle for the OBS next year.
