Brett Favre shared the MVP with Barry Sanders, when Sanders ran for 2000 yards(and was only the 3rd person ever to do it at the time), and Farve had only his 3rd best year of his career at that point.

It's completely ridiculous how much he is glorified. Both times they went to the SB, they had by far the best D-line of the 90s and one of the best o-lines in the NFL at that time.

Why is anybody suprised? Janikowski got into trouble before a bowl game and still played. The only reason they let go of Lavernius Coles was because they had Peter Warwick.

I was so excited on draft day when Quinn kept falling. It seems like he was the only reason ND had a winning record when he was there, and he was great in the preseason. We could have had a real start QB, but I think James "Shack" Harris is racist against white QBs. Not that the 3 QBs were terrible, I actually like Quinn Gray more than Garrard, but Brady would have made the team a lot better(and his job is to make the team better).

A. J. Smith was an idiot for thinking he could get a 1st rounder for Turner, when Marshall Faulk went for less, while he already went to pro bowls and was in his prime, when he was traded.

It looks like sour grapes on A.J.'s part. It also looks like he knows he won't get a 1st or 2nd rounder for him even if injuries happen in the preseason.

I think the Chargers will definitely try to work him to the ground this year before he leaves. Maybe he'll do both PRs and KRs, while getting close to 150 carries.

It would suck for Turner, because if he gets injured this year he'll only get about half of what he is worth in FA.
