Does Hoge have a purpose at ESPN anymore besides going on air once in a while to badmouth Tebow? I can't stand this guy. It's like he really thinks he breaking ground everytime he gets in front of a camera and says Tebow isn't an accurate passer. Yeah, no kidding. There isn't a person alive that doesn't already know this. They just put stock into what else he brings to the table (great running game, leadership, character, playing better in big games, etc). Tebow makes plays and is clearly worth throwing out there at QB if you don't already have a top 15 QB (Jets don't).
100% PR BS by the owners. Most fans blame them for the lockout so they're using KG's personality to try to flip it around on the players. Of course one player sitting in on one meeting isn't undoing months of negotiations.
"They're getting paid while also getting a big chunk of the revenues"? What does this even mean? The players get paid FROM that chunk of revenue, obviously not in addition to like you are apparently saying. As far as players not paying operating expenses, where do you think that money comes from? It comes from the currently 43% chunk of revenue that the PLAYERS generate. Well run franchises don't lose money, and I feel no sympathy for an owner that owns a team just to make money. That said, the players have already offered to take a lower percent, 52 or 53 or something like that, and other issues such as guaranteed contracts need to be fixed.
