Please! If the Knicks did fire Woodson, which they are not, it wouldn't be to pick up Del Negro. Not with the likes of Byron Scott and even Jerry Sloan available.
You make some points here but since Bama absolutely dominated the other team in all of these outings, a team you make no case for also not be deserving of being there and by extension conceding that they did, your argument loses all credibility. If it is as you say that Alabama had an easy road to the title, that should mean that they were untested, unprepared, and logically unlikely to beat a legitimate opponent.
Your argument is full of holes, is all wet, and built on a crumbling foundation.
I am not an Alabama fan. In fact I kind of hate them, But you make no sense.
Not for me. I'd vote for Spolestra as Coach of the Year. And the entire Heat roster as co-MVP's, Pat Riley as executive of the year and Arison as owner of all eternity and perpetuity. Lebron should be named "New Messiah" and a book should be added to the bible in his honor. WAIT...in fact, throw the entire Old and New Testaments out, Koran, and Torah and have Lebron write something to replace them since he is THAT GOOD! (or so we are to believe).
COME ON KNEE INJURY! Get this guy out of circulation for good.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA Of course he's done. The next to go on the Hawks coaching carousel. It can't be all of these coaches who are the problem.
Here's my take on it, and I appreciate that many people don't see it this way. You can't give those titles the same weight as titles won under a completely different criteria. 50 games is not 82. For example, take the Knicks. They are a team loaded with older players. If they played for an won a title in a 50 game season, how could even I, a fan of team accept that as 100% legit since the test to get there is so much less demanding? What a team can accomplish in 50 games is perhaps vastly different than that which they might accomplish in 82 since the demands both mentally and physically are more.
I'm not saying that San Antonio and Miami would not have won otherwise, but the point is we'll never know. And for that reason, although I accept that they won, I cannot look at those titles the same way.
