and even if they were graduating, why in gods name would a program that hasn't been to a bowl game since 1982 give a crap about next year's QB when they're 5-0 and ranked in the Top-15?

and don't get all cocky that your Gators are will win easy. The Dores beat the Ole Miss team on the road that owned Tebow and Co. a couple weeks back.

have to agree. even if the brewers get hot again the cubs have an 9 game lead in the wild card. rest Z and Harden and hope Marshall and maybe Hart can give you some solid starts. At least one of them needs to be 100% for the playoffs for the Cubs to have a real shot at winning it all.

he's not going anywhere for at least a month, and even then it would take a pretty sweet offer.

That being said, the Cubs desperately need another dominant starter for the playoffs (especially if they play the D-backs again. They also have a lot of young talent to trade, so as long as they feel he's healthy Hendry will probably pursue him pretty aggressively.

Reed Johnson and Edmonds are doing just fine thank you. The dude had one amazing year with the Sox, but he's gone back to being a below average player since then. no thanks.

bottom line, the guy needs to be taken out for a defensive sub in the 9th in save situations. Have Reed Johnson in Left, Edmonds in Center, and Fuku in right. If he needs to protect his ego just say its because of his leg injuries, which is probably true considering he's running the bases like a 40 year old catcher.

I like Soriano, and he's a huge weapon on offense. But there's nothing wrong with admitting his shortcomings and planning around them in critical situations.

as for renaming Wrigley, even if Zell is stupid enough to do it, companies are not. Only Budweiser and Old Style could pull off buying the rights without getting boycotted. If you corporations need an example of the backlash created when you mess with Chicago traditions just look at Macy's taking over Mashall Fields. Their sales are waay down and its still a PR nightmare a year later. Good luck Zellie, you white-bearded ****.

I live a half block from Wrigley and it amazes me how pissed off people get about night games. Its not like you didn't know Wrigley field and 100 bars are a few blccks from your house. If it annoyed you that much you coulc've moved farther north/south/west. So quit your bitching and make $40 a game selling your parking spots like I do. Christ.
