and even if they were graduating, why in gods name would a program that hasn't been to a bowl game since 1982 give a crap about next year's QB when they're 5-0 and ranked in the Top-15?
and don't get all cocky that your Gators are will win easy. The Dores beat the Ole Miss team on the road that owned Tebow and Co. a couple weeks back.
That being said, the Cubs desperately need another dominant starter for the playoffs (especially if they play the D-backs again. They also have a lot of young talent to trade, so as long as they feel he's healthy Hendry will probably pursue him pretty aggressively.
I like Soriano, and he's a huge weapon on offense. But there's nothing wrong with admitting his shortcomings and planning around them in critical situations.
