Dallas will more than likely set off any decision making process made by Cowher, Shanahan and Holmgren (if he returns)...
Dallas is the most desireable choice of any open spot this off season and that is not even a guarantee that their spot opens.
If Dallas has a good December and wins a playoff game or two, it would be hard to replace Wade when he has the team improving.
Lets write these articles when the season and playoffs are over and more coaches are fired...
IE... Wade(possibly), Zorn, Smith, the Bills spot, etc.....
Oakland's D sucks and their Offense is ranked 29th.
Dallas should and will win by multiple scores...In the Romo era, this team has never had 3 poor offensive performances.
With the D playing very well, I think Dallas wins 28-10.
On the altercation....this article being written is ridiculous....sideline fights have happened for years and this wasnt even blows...it was a chest bump by a very in your face coach (Campo)...good for him for having some fire....it got Newman to play better.
At times, he shows brilliance and others, he looks stupid.
Case in point...
Dallas down 17-0, 6 mins to go in the game and 1st and goal from the 1, what does he do?
He calls for a pass?
Jeeeesh.....run the friggin ball, play some D like they had been and hope for the ball back..
Instead, Romo throws a pick to Woodson and that sealed any miracle come back.
Sickens me.
Dallas is 6-2 and could be 8-0 if not for a couple of late huge catches in the Giants game and Broncs game.
Not to mention that Tony is having a good year and the offense is ranked #3 in yards.
This team does not need another diva.
They are just fine flying somewhat beneath the radar.
Bottom line, Miami can offer him more than any other team, same for LBJ and it is why NEITHER of them will leave their current locals.
Miami will use its massive money to get 2 big names, prob Bosh and one other player and form a monster going forward that will give the aging Celtics a run a season from now.
Spolestra is doing a good job...
This team made the playoffs in his 1st season as coach and are at 6-1 to start this season.
Miami has more money avail next summer than any team in the NBA and is not exactaly hard to sell on players to come to such an awesome area to play with Wade.
Re-inking Riles is going to happen, period.
But last I looked, he did not run out in the yard and volunteer his thoughts...its the reporters that sit at his locker and question him about everything from his shoe size to the toothpaste he uses..
Dont blame TO for having an opinion...blame the media for never leaving the guy alone.
The team is playing better on O because there is not a #1 WR, EVERYONE is getting the ball if they are open.
I will say though that Romo's passes to Williams of late have been low and high and not on time so that falls on either the route being run or the timing between both players.
Personally, why is it that drama some how finds someone in Dallas....jeesh.
The Heat are not going to move Beasley anyway...his cost is cheap for 2 seasons and his upside in enormous.
Plus with the big roster roll-over next season, you are not going to see Miami do anything unless it involves getting Bosh by the trade deadline and then him signing a new deal prior to the end of the season.
End of story.............
Arroyo is a decent #2 PG and will push Chalmers.
Chalmers is in his 2nd year and has nice upside...I think Miami is laying a good foundation for some HUGE years ahead with Chalmers, Beasley and Cook.
Toss in the ridiculous cap room they have next season and this could be a title contender 1yr out with the right combo of guys surrounding a "hopefully re-signed" Wade.
First off, Snyder is probably the worst over-spender of free agents in the history of the NFL...
Secondly, Cerruto is a horrible GM.
Zorn is an offensive co-ordinator at best and he even lost that job.
You have no QB and that sums it all up right there!!
Fire the Coach at seasons end, kick the GM to the curb and find a better QB....that will solve a lot of problems right there.
Dallas was in similar shape a few years back...their coaches stunk until Parcells arrived and they finally found a QB in Bledsoe and got a better one in Romo.
This team is on the decline and they have ZERO talent at the other Wideout spots and TE to garner coverage from rolling off of Stevie.
Until they get a legit TE or something faster than ol GrandPa at the #2 WR spot, he will see double teams until the cows come home!
First off, injuries happen in the NFL and Bennett is a great backup TE.
Secondly, he was drafted in the 2nd round and has huge upside...not many teams are going to be willing to part with a Round 1 pick for the guy.
Someone else above took a shot at Barber...
Marion is a great RB who will always miss games based off of his running style.
It is EXACTALY why Dallas needs Felix and Choice.
In the NFL, you can never NOT have enough RB's and we have 3.
Good for us.
He just opened a monster of a stadium and when he eventually finds a suitor, he will net around 20 mil per year.
That stadium is financed anyway....Just keep the seats filled and the money will always roll in, at least in Big D.
Otherwise, every team in the league is going to do like Dallas did and blanket him with a man underneath and over the top.
Just get rid of him at seasons end...nab a free agent or two and ink Shanahan or Cowher to a nice deal.
When you sign for Oakland...you are collecting a check...playing football is 2nd.
Let this team play out the season and we will see where it is at the end.
Dallas has shown flashes of brillance and then plain out bad stuff too...
If they can get more consistent, the wins will follow...but, sadly, they look under-coached right now for.
Amazingly, they are ranked #1 in Offense in the NFL....not bad for a team with no TO and has had 2 running backs banged up for the last 3 weeks.
The bye is perfect timing to get everyone healthy and ATTEMPT to develop more consistency.
This article is complete crap b/c it was reported that Tony looked to the sideline and saw the marker read 3rd down and he thought they had 1 more shot.
He knew it was 4th heading into the huddle.
Lets not forget that this team is literally 2 plays from 4-0.
The sky is not falling....the season is long and we shall see if they can get to 10 wins and make the playoffs.
But, he is ranked in the Top 7 of linemen over the last 5 yrs with fewest sacks allowed.
34 is not old for a lineman and if I recall he has had to face Gaines Adams in wk 1, Justin Tuck and Osi in wk2 then Peppers last week...guess what? Zero sacks allowed.
Why you ask?
New stadium...biggest team in the NFL...lots of talen with only a piece or two, maybe a coach in this case from the next step.
