Tyron is doing the right thing and this kid having his head screwed on straight makes me happier playing the position he does.

Speculating if he leaves is pointless, we are another full season and playoffs from that happening.

If Miami wins a title this year and either comes close next year or wins another, he will be going no where.

It also depends on who are free agents at the same time they can opt out because we all know the only way he goes elsewhere is if he is teaming up with several guys to win more titles.

The bond he has with Wade and Bosh leads me to believe they will take paycuts to get Miami back under the cap for a season or two, then have their salaries escalate up again.

Generally when you are traded from a glamour team like the Lakers to a crap town like Philly, it is not all that exciting to get back to health.

Homie sat that entire season, got paid and now, in free agency, he will get paid again by going to another club.

Houston, Dallas and a few others will be more than happy to pay him, worth it or not.

He knew what the remainder of the NBA world knew and that is that Kidd and Chandler are not worth the dough...just look at NY.

Cuban will make a run at Howard and some other working parts to surround Dirk.

Buy him out for his $5m and then sign him to another 2-5...that is going to be about what a team offers a 35-36yr old player like him.

He would be looking at the mid-level exception from most squads.

Actually, if the Lakers let Metta go, Pierce would be a nice fit there....many NBA vets seem to find their retirement in LA to be suitable.

But, this team knows who is calling the plays.

For the record, Bill Callahan was calling plays during the OTA's last week.

Garrett, Callahan and Romo will game plan and Bill will call them live.

That is a good thing because Garrett may get yards but they have never translated into the proper points...hopefully Bill can change that.

Spo does not get the credit he deserves for sure!

This guy was catching all kinds of Heat (no pun intended) with them at 9-8 in season 1 and took them to 6 games into the finals, then winning the following year.

He completely overhauled their offense this past offseason, added 2 new bodies, had everyone come together and literally won 27 straight games while posting the league best record and still does not get credit.

Riles groomed this guy from the video room and obviously saw something no one else did.

Just because you have the best players does not mean you win...it takes good coaching to get all of those personalities to gel...

Spo has done that.

Miami's false sense ended when Chicago came into Miami and beat them back in Game 1, only to get blown out of the gym in Game 2, 10pts in 3 and 20+ in Game 4.

I do not envision the Knicks or Pacers beating Miami because neither match up with them. The Knicks rely too much on the 3 ball and Carmelo taking 40 shots a game while the Pacers like to grind it out but have NO ONE who can keep Lebron from getting 30+.

Miami will close out the Bulls in 5, and my pre-playoff bet was Pacers in 6, then the Thunder in 6.

Wade has not been the weak link but it will be what keeps Miami from cruising to a back to back title vs grinding it out.

Wade is 22ppg...if he can put up 15 in an efficient manner, the Heat can make up the other 7 from a combo of Lebron, Bosh, Allen, Battier, Cole and Chalmers.

Right now, that knee needs rest and closing out the Bulls in 5 and sitting for another 4 or 5 days watching the Knicks and Pacers beat each other up to a 7 game series will do wonders.

Worst GM is a bit harsh since he does have 3 SuperBowl titles in his tenure as CEO and GM of the Cowboys.

He has had some rough seasons in recent years but ANY GM/Owner with 3 titles under his belt has done something right at one point or another.

As for the article...good for him setting the bar high...will be nice to see the Center, TE, WR and RB come in and contribute immediately.

The Bulls got a rusty Miami team and then got hot.

Since then, the chippy play of the Bulls has woke up Miami to the challenge at hand....and that is never a good idea.

Even with Rose, the Bulls are a Top 3 team still in need of a knockdown shooter to off set Rose's ability to drive and dish.

Having a Ray Allen on that Bull team would scare me as a Heat fan...until then, Rose can get his points in quarters 1-3 and then Lebron can guard him in the 4th and shut him down.
