Wish I could!!!
But I think your stretching a little here! Why would Houston take radmanavic, sum yue?
That's nearly as bad a deal as pau for kwane!
Also is t-mac going to be happy getting 5-10 shots a night max? No
And where is lemar odom in your big plan?
is he not a potential allstar figure?!
i understand miami need a big man, but im sure they can get better than miller! i thought boozer was a possibility? or even trade marion for lamar odom. ay least he is a free agent in the summer, so if it does not work they can go in a different direction in the summer. And LA get a more reliable 3/4 man to cover kobe and gasol!
It would solve the heats problem of playing beesley and the matrix at SF and give them a solid back coiurt of wade and iverson.
Prob wouldnt help the nuggets but so what!
Would give them a big guard to play alongside wade, who can score a bundle of points at any time!
Hopefully his experience in the last couple of years in NY and then being waived will humble him a little and playing as number 2/3 or 4 choice in miami would bring out the best in him!
on the otherside will marbury be happy sitting in wades shadow?
its worth the risk for the heat as they would be able to sign him on a vets minimum salary!
But i imagine there will be a few teams that would be willing to take that chance! (Lakers, Phoenix? cleveland)
Eitherway i think marbury will find himself with a winning team that can complete for a championship or at worst late playoff contention!
New york get some salary relief and allow crawford and co to blossom!
But the big question that still remains is what are te heat going to do for a starting center and point guard?
The have been very quite in the market this summer, and there only major addition is beasley (who plays the same position as marion/haslam)
Deny got his, and he rejected and had a bad year, as did Gordon.
But he was still the bulls highest scorer and that was coming off the bench!
Ok he rejected the deal last year, but don't understand why he is the only one taking the rap for it.
Deny did the same, so did okafor, josh smith and igdugala!
VC has never competed in the East? Didnt he take the Raptors to the conference finals one year? the year Philly beat them and went to the final!
Now excuse me if im wrong but isnt that competing?
how do the magic come into this conversation?
granted they have two of their best players playing the same position, but if they had faced anyone else other then detroit (and boston) they would have made the conference finals last year!
So what could the magic have cashed in on?
BUT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEN GORDON RESIGNING WITH THE BULLS!
They traded away all their bigs for more perimeter players, then drafted another!
Maybe the new system will consist of a sarting lineup of 5 guards!
Who will replace that Larry Hughes? dont think so!
Buffalo. Not sure they have saved much since Shaq. They signed penny to a big deal.
Then g.hill and tmac to max deals.
Then traded for Steve Francis.
Then signed rashard lewis and Howard to max deals.
Not really much room left after filling out roster each year.
Would just love to know where these writters sit and smoke when they make these things up!
I follow them, and really don't believe they will go so far over the cap and pay double for bosh! He's not going to make them millions in marketing, because he's nor that type of character, he will play second fiddle to Howard, and also a team has to be under the cap to negotiate for a free agent, unless your talking mid level exeption or minimum salary.
Would make the most amazing front court, Howard, bosh and lewis.
But how realistic is that? Surely the magic would not have cap space to make it happen after last summers 3 big contract signings!
Or am I missing something?
And they did have the space would they not me better going after wade or James to give them the perimeter option they are lacking!
i think indi will need those picks if they make that trade, they will have no squad left!
Also, dont think AI will be too pleased with that trade!
