David Lee, Al Harrington, Chris Wilcox. 3 PF's??? Trade Lee even though he's the most solid of the 3 right now, because the team can get more balance. Maybe bring in a better Center, PG, or SG.

Jerryd Bayless at his combine a year ago did 7 reps on the bench press. Stephan Curry at the combine a week ago did 10 reps. Curry is stronger. Bayless had a 37 inch verticle. Curry had a 35.5 inch verticle. Jerryd Bayless is not bigger or more athletic than Stephan Curry. This is a misconception, and Curry has a better jumper. If you don't believe me the stats are on Draftexpress.com

This team has no front court. David Lee is a good Rebounder, but they need a post player to develop. Either trade up and get Hasheem Thabeet to play center, or trade down and get BJ mullens and another player or another pick next year. A good move would be to trade for Minnesota's 18th and 28th picks this year for #8. If you think you can't grab a good player at 28, the Knicks got David Lee at #30.

KC was a good quarterback when he played those 8 games 2 seasons ago. The team around him just wasn't that good, and he stilled played to a 3-5 record. And he was within a fingernail of going 4-4 if Justin Mccarains didn't drop a TD in the endzone against the Ravens. Put a good team around KC and he will do fine.

I think most recently Steve Mcnair came from Alcorn State. Although he recently retired, small school guys are just players from smaller programs. It doesn't mean anything about their athleticism, intelligence, or ability to play against more talented players. just that they went to a small school. If the interview, and workouts go well, I say draft them, or have them on standby to be signed the second the draft is over.

This would be a great deal for the Knicks, so if Donnie Walsh isn't BS'ing he should look into it. Both Bayless from Arizona and Jordan from Texas A&M only played one season. Those two players alone could be most improved players in the next season or two. Both can run very well, and are extremely athletic. The fact of getting Channing Frye is a pretty decent throw in as well. So if I'm the Knicks, I wouldn't knock it, because by the end of this season, or definately next season, that trade would be paying some dividends. Also forgot, Marcus Camby has blocked more shots than the entire Knicks team put together. No brainer in my book.
Posted Friday October 17, 2008, About: Bobcats lining up Morrison trade?
I think he played in the preseason and thats when he got hurt. But the fact is in his first year he played 30 minutes a game. Thats starters minutes right there, so you can't say he couldn't get into the flow of the game. He averaged 12 points 3 boards and 2 assists. He did take alot of shots to get those 12 points per game though. I don't think he's a bust, but he may not be more than a role player or 6th man. He might be like a Brent Barry that gets better as he gets older, and improves his FG% and ability to pass the ball. Overall, looking at the past 5 drafts, only the top 5 players have made any kind of impact going back to 2003. And then there are throwaway players included anyway, like Darko Milicic and Shaun Livingston, and Adam Morrison. Jordan's not at fault, it's a crapshoot.
Posted Wednesday October 08, 2008, About: D'Antoni takes jab at Marbury
Marbury looked like he was doing a little better than Duhon, and was seeing the floor passing in the practice that they showed online. If your going to pay someone 20 million, keep them on the team. Thats just my opinion. If the season starts and 10 games in, they've won 6 or 7 games, nobody will be saying Marbury needs to go.

And as far as the number 6 pick, I'm not a fan of Gallanari, but there was no talent better than him. All the players in the 6 to 12 slot were pretty even. Eric Gordon is a good shooter but a short 2 guard which they already have 2 or 3 of. Brook Lopez might have been a good pickup, I would have thought about getting him before Gallanari, just because you have Chandler playing SF in the future. But we'll see what happens. First preseason games 2nite!!!
Posted Monday July 07, 2008, About: Sources: Knicks will dump Marbury
I disagree with this article. While I do think that Marbury needs to dominate the ball and score 20 or more just to be able to get assists (because he does alot of drive and kick out to open shooters), doesn't Steve Nash dominate the ball? Doesn't Chris Paul or Deron Williams need the ball alot to be effective? I think in D'antoni's system, if Stephon can get on board, he can lead this team effectively. Especially if the shooters are upgraded. Remember, he was doing better when they weren't trying to force the ball into Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph, as he could be more effective. Now that they aren't going to play that way, he may be able to run more, penetrate more, and get more assists, providing Curry and Randolph aren't on the court at the same time.
Posted Thursday June 26, 2008, About: Knicks dangling Lee to move down
I think this is just another rumor that is not entirely true. I heard they were looking at trading Lee and maybe an expiring contract for another pick, the 6th pick was not even included.
Posted Sunday April 06, 2008, About: Walsh is Ewing's ticket back to New York
Seeing Patrick Ewing come back to NY, even as an assistant would be like Jesus coming back on the third day. Pat's an icon to the city and the team. Just having him around will inspipre players and put some pride back in the team. Not to mention, he could help the big men, should they acquire one in the draft.
