yeah..Congrats to the Lakers and Odom,what's a few millions less when you can earn them back in endorsements? I love my team and Jerry Buss for always giving us a team that ALWAYS has the chance to succeed.As everyone agrees,with Artest we are very good but with Odom we look SCARY..I always had the impression that this last season we didn't really play to our FULL potential:Walton with an ankle injury,Vujacic not finding his rhythm,Bynum out with a knee injury,I think we really started coming together at the end of game 4 against Denver.I'm so excited about our future that I can't wait for the NBA season to start.And now with Spurs,Cavs,Magic and Celtics reloading, is gonna be an awesome season to watch....we still are the team to beat,I expect a hungrier Kobe looking for his 5th ring,Phil for his 11th that will put more distance between him and Red,Artest trying to get his first ring...life always presents itself with new challenges,bring it on!!! GO LAKERS!!

am I supposed to believe this article from the Boston Globe?...mmm.....talking about biased....give the Bulls credit they are playing amazing basketball against the Celts,so far no complains,it's a great series and very entertaining....at the end, the Celts will prevail but Rose and the rest of the young bulls are getting some valuable playoff experience for the next year...

IMAO...why Celts fans are all upset about this? At the start of the season the Celts were doing all the dancing,we were just watching...now some other team danced on them and they got upset? what a bunch of pansies,as my dad said "if they are kicking your butt,do something about it",this is all a preview for what's coming up in the Eastern Finals.As a Laker fan,we want the Celts in the Finals but Stern would love to see a Lebron & Kobe instead....

what part of my comment doesn't make sense to you? That Ginobili has been hurt since last season and can't manage to stay healthy? That Duncan is playing with a knee injury? That we made it to the Finals without Bynum(if you don't know it,that's actually the topic of this thread) ?
That the Celts' bench has improved and that the Cavs are playing amazing basketball? If you don't understand BASIC real facts and then let me lower my IQ your level and start talking trash like you: San Antonio? That's not even a city,it's more like a big town with a bunch of clowns with dreams to be big....Spurs? If they don't give some rest to Duncan and enough time to Ginobili to get some rhythm in time for the playoffs,they won't even beat the Mavs in the first round...a Spurs fan outside of Texas? WOW!! as a Spurs fan ,you should be more concern with what's going on with your team.First off,Ginobili needs to comeback healthy in time for the playoffs and you want to talk about tired? Duncan is not looking fresh either,plus the knee really is bothering him.The Lakers already proved last year that they can beat a healthy Jazz,an injured Spurs so the real challenge comes in the Finals facing the Celts or the super hot Cavs....if we end up facing the Cavs(Stern won't believe his luck if this really happen)we have the weapons to beat them as long we contain Lebron ,but if we go against the Celts this year will be a lot closer than last year but I give the edge to the Celts because Perkins,Davis and Powe have elevated their games and have been solid contributors throughout the season.As the Spurs,I'm sorry to say this but they are like the ugly chick that nobody wants to see at the prom party...lol

I have to agree with Tex at some degree,I don't think we have reached our full potential yet, a very inconsistent bench and low performance by key players.Injuries are not helping us either,but I feel very confident that once that playoffs start we will be fine....hey we have the best record in the NBA and we are not even playing our best basketball....I hope it comes at the right time,we need BYNUM!!!!

Since Iverson left the Nuggets,the are moving the ball better,getting more rebounds and less turnovers,then Iverson was traded to the Pistons and they loss their identity and cohesion as a team,Do you guys see the problem? IVERSON SUCKS!! he is a ball hog takes unnecessary shots without letting his teammates to get set or even a chance to get a rebound...Rip played the "nice card" coming off the bench but enough is enough,he deserves to be an starter and now that Billups is gone,this is HIS TEAM and they have to rebuild around him.WHo cares about Iverson's pride? the guy is done,people talk **** about Marbury but this guy is WORSE.He played along Webber and he couldn't win,he played with Carmelo,Camby and Nene and he couldn't win...No wonder,after Iverson was traded the happiest guy in Earth was George Karl.For him, Iverson wasn't "the answer"(<----- what irony..lol)....and the Iverson is in Detroit,he is more like a question mark.

This is great news for Marbury and the Celts but bad news for the rest of the league...I know Marbury was healthy and ready to play at the start of the season,we don't know how much effort it will take him to fit in the Celtics system but coming off the bench and playing with 3 all-star players will make things really easy for him.Also,we don't know how this will affect the development of Rondo and the minutes of House,I know this much,the reason we lost in the Finals against them had a lot to do with how good Rondo,Posey and House played.Still,I feel my Lakers have a chance to beat them if we face each other in the Finals again...in the other side,Cavs better go after a big man that will battle Moore,if not they will regret it.I bet know the Cavs feel really stupid about not going after Shaq but I also understand their need to get rid of Wallace's contract,how in the hell he makes $15 mill per season? I can't explain it....

That trade makes a lot of sense for the Lakers.Vlad could have been really good but the triangle offense,minutes played and some weird feud with Jackson was just too much to overcome.He is gonna do great with the Bobcats...
