They don't have the manpower infrastructure or resources to be a competetive team. In Nascar it is about personel. Who works for you. Ask Paul Andrews about why he is employed there. He has coasted his way around the garage on a good year with Kulwicki, only to ultimately wind-up with the last-stop, before dropping out of the sport.
Nobody goes to Petty enterprises unless they are on their way out. I think B.Labonte has come to that conclusion. He should give his parade-car ride to his older brother, and try and rebuild what is left of his career. The team is a trophy-room from a bi-gone era, but merely a shell of a real nascar team.
DEI wil be bought before they devalue the name too far.Besides it is mostly Ginn Racing equip that anyone would want. Wouldn't it be ironic if Jr, with Hendricks backing, purchased the remains at a greatly reduced price.

tr.v. bared, bar??ing, bares
1. To make bare; uncover or reveal: bared their heads; baring secrets.
2. To expose: The dog bared its teeth. I look forward to your answer. Maroon. I mean c'mon. I am forced to match wits by some 8th grader without a clue.
Ciao baun. Have fun cryin' in your beer, cuz I'll be laughin' in mine.
So as we say around here...19-freakin'-67. maroon
Not too mention the tarnish it places of a HOFers legacy. SN..has a pretty solid legacy, so I think he will be granted quite alot of leeway on this point.
The only time us in western canada get to enjoy all the maple leafs hockey shoved down our throats is when it means the debacle that is the current leafs team is failing in front of such a large audience. No..no..we are laughin'----with you!
So Goodyear would rather go back to the drawing board until they come-up with a tire that has a little harder compound, but is still engineered to go fast but safe.
The purchasing public couldn't give a rats-behind about TS and his bi-polar rantings, but have a Nascar star perish because the tire was too soft, that they might react to. So it appears as if Goodyear is practicing due-diligece.
Toyota isn't there because they don't have lockers to keep your stuff in while your out at the track...
Time to take my meds...
