Watching him in his first year it seemed that he was much more effective when he would actually attack the basket every once and a while. When he did that he'd pick up free throws, offensive boards and assists, not to mention creating some space for his outside shot. When he was content, or resigned himself to sitting on the outside for his deep J, he was too easy to guard and his percentages went down. I would hope that his year off gave him time to see that on film, and that his knee is strong enough to allow that kind of play again. It may not matter though as Brown is first and foremost a defensive guy. If Morrison doesn't impress him on that end, he won't get the chance to show what he can do on the other. AM has only had ONE year to show his game... lots of guys don't hit their NBA stride until year two or three. It'd almost be a shame if Morrison doesn't even get the chance to do that as a Bobcat. He can definitely play in the NBA, as a valued "points off the bench" guy if nothing else, but it may well not be with Charlotte.

Uh... Coco, didn't Chandler (who has stuck to the tune of most offensive boards and 3rd most boards period) turn into Brand who is one of a fairly rare breed, that being the 20/10 variety? Most teams would take that! Not to mention Thornton, who had a decent rookie year. Yeah the Clips' choices won't fuel too many highlight reels but things may well be changing for the better
