He has finally discovered the problem. He is still Michael Strahan!
Posted Sunday August 19, 2007, About: Goodell: Rookie contracts too big
I'm not sure I understand. If the NFL feels the rookies are paid too much, if the owners feel the rookies are paid too much, if the veterans feel the rookies are paid too much, who is left? The rookies.

There seems to be a simple solution to this issue.

I think they should pray for Vick while is there. He is going to need them. But then he does have $130M more than I do.

My conclusion from all these comments is that there are a number of people who have very little to do in life other than trade comments with other lonely people.
When I look at a posting on FanNation and see 100+ comments I can easily guess whose names I will see repeatedly in those comments. It is always the same people ranting back and forth with each other.
Get a life people!
Posted Wednesday August 01, 2007, About: Umenyiora in Coughlin's doghouse
What a mess the Giants are!
The players are either holding out or shooting their mouths off.
Eli is throwing Aflac passes in camp.
Tom C. is unable to maintain the control he insists on.
They insist that Brandon Jacobs will successfully replace Tiki.

RUFF5thwd.TX
Perhaps you may have noticed that police dogs are trained to intimidate and control nefarious characters, not maim them.
Is sounds like you may have been on the receiving end of such an intimidation and it left an edibible impact.
Posted Saturday July 28, 2007, About: Co-defendant deal may hurt Vick
Vick surely is the tip of the iceberg. Once they make an example of him, which they should, they will have to be equally hard on all the other NFL players they discover are involved in dog-fighting.
They may be a number of roster openings in the future. All you arena-ball players better stay in shape. Your opportunity may be coming.

I can't wait for the actual season to start so we can focus on the actual playing of the game.
Posted Friday July 27, 2007, About: Gibbs to toughen Redskins camp
Gibbs should be as tough on the Redskins as he is on his NASCAR team. Just ask Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin.
Posted Friday July 27, 2007, About: RB quits Jets for personal reasons
Ellen,
What's up with your panties? Have you considered that perhaps no one would want them? Especially with the fact that you seem to be so anxious to get rid of them.
Tell us the truth. Your name is really Bruce.
Posted Friday July 27, 2007, About: Giants vet may hold out over contract
Mr. Strahan needs to realize he is on the down side of his career. There are no quarterbacks who are going to lay down so he can sack them anymore.
Maybe he is just trying to get more money to give it to his ex-wife.
Posted Friday July 27, 2007, About: Vick out at least 11 games?
My credo has always been, "You will never learn anything and improve yourself unless you suffer the consequences of your actions, or lack of them." This fits so well in Vick's case. If he is guilty (and the evidence certainly seems to point in that direction), he has no one to blame but himself.
My concern is that unless the NFL handles this situation with direct action a lot of fans will be alienated. My wife is a big pro football fan and she is awaiting action by the NFL and the Falcons to prove they have the intestinal fortitude to take a stand.
We have a wonderful dog (Lab/Doberman) who is in the last stages of bone cancer, so perhaps we are a little overly sensitive about story about dogs and their mis-treatment. Our dog has provide us with 12 years of devoted and unquestioned love and companionship. She has been a joy in our lifes. To think of other dogs being mistreated as those were on Vick's property can only generate anger and frustration in us.
I'm sure all others who have dogs as family members feel the same way.
Posted Tuesday July 24, 2007, About: Commissioner orders Vick from camp
I sit and wait for Arthur Blank to come out of hiding and do or at least say something. Where is his leadership? If he is not a leader, he should at least try and act like one.
Vick is your player. You are the one paying him. You are responsible for him as an employee. Quit waiting for the NFL to take the responsibility off your shoulders.
DO SOMETHING!
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: T.O. finally learning plays?
Eric_F,
What is Carrie Underwood going to play at halftime? I could have sworn she was a singer and a great one at that.

Also, "Ain't no way the boys go to the Bowl" to me means they will not be there. Is that correct or do you 'Boys fans have an odd way of expresssing yourselves?
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: T.O. finally learning plays?
Once again the Cowboys have proved themselves to fall into the category of "rabid" fans.
In case you are wondering RABID can be defined as a) extreme, b) radical, c) fanatical, d) uncompromising, e) bigoted, f) militant, and g) narrow-minded.
Come to think of it, it fits!

jloera,
I am sorry to disappoint you. (Actually I am not.) Not everyone loves what some mis-guided people call AMERICA'S TEAM.
I understand you will not believe that because you and many others have been brain-washed.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: T.O. finally learning plays?
It took Michael Vick and his deviant hobbies to get TO out of the headlines. At least for awhile.
I know discussions about this type of mental cro-magnons bring their fan equivalents out from under their rocks, but is it at all possible to feature a story once in awhile about a good decent human being that happens to play professional footbal. They do exist.
Posted Sunday July 22, 2007, About: Falcons not looking at Culpepper
Culpepper had better start facing the reality of his marketability.
