I'm guessing that Ray Lewis won't be added to the equation after his season ending injury. Matthews is crazy good and can change the outcome of a game but Lewis' hits border on felonious assault. Sure, rg3 can change the game too, as the vikes found out Sunday, but he's also shown us that he can be knocked out of a game with a concussion (from Atlanta's Sean Witherspoon) and he was basically the Bengal's tackling dummy a couple weeks before that. Brian Cushing could get a nod but he's out on IR now too.
You make some good observations but IMO I think that it is a foregone conclusion that Payton will undoubtedly be a head coach someday, after a short stint at QB coach and OC. Now I don't have a dog in the fight but I sure thought that Denver should have kept Tebow on the roster to be (hopefully) groomed by PM and because of TT's popularity in Denver. Hell, Tebow's jersey sales in Mile High (or whatever it is called now) probably paid his salary, lol.
Why do you sound so surprised? dj has a long history of having TDs cancelled if he doesn't think he'll win, and that's WITH his numerous dupe accounts. Anytime someone goes up against him in a TD they're basically giving him a 3 or 4 vote handicap just to account for his dupes, and in August of last year he admitted to having dupe accounts, begged for forgiveness, and apologized for being a dbag loser. Which means NOTHING because he is still a loser, still has dupes, and of course... is still a dbag. I look at dj as being FN's charity case, you know, the mentally challenged handicapped version of the annoying fat kid on the playground that no one wants on their team (no offense to fat kids).
Great TD and brings back some good memories. I think Jordan and Ali have got to be the top two, and Mays/Ruth should take that third position. Hard to argue against Mays but you could if you factored in that Ruth wasn't just a basher, but at the beginning of his career he was also a damn good pitcher with a career era of 2.28 and two 20+ win seasons.
I don't think either team will take him, but between the two, it'd have to be the Pats. They've got more cap room available, and a history of working with drama queens, and the ravens are pretty much out of cap space and even if they do release lee evans to avoid paying his salary that he is due for 2012 they still have a cap hit from him whether he's on the team or isn't on the team. The ravens would not have to pay his salary but the league would still use his expected salary against the ravens as if he were still on the team in 2012 (ask Dallas how that's been working for 'em). And both the pats and ravens have two first round picks next year, and there's lots of wideout talent available in the draft that aren't narcissistic egomaniacs like Duh-shawn Jackson. Either way, the ravens definitely will NOT be signing another free agent wideout, they've done their work getting Evans and Boldin on board, if they're that concerned about WR depth they'll shop the draft, but they sure won't be working on signing jackson.
Agreed, neither of those two teams have any salary cap room available anyway, and Bilichik is pretty much over divas (ocho, moss), maybe the Bills could pick him up and pair him up with Stevie Johnson, have their own version of dumb and dumber...
They league is investigating that, but Costa should know better anyway, and they might want to think about doing "no-count" snaps for a while anyway. The 24-19 score sounds encouraging but big D has played 9 strait games that were decided by 3 points or less... so let's hope for a 24-21 Dallas win. Then they get a much needed bye week.
I'm guessing everybody on the Cowboys roster has deAngela's name on their hit list. And you can bet that Jason Garrett and Tony Romo have been dialing up some special plays aimed in hall's direction.
Lots of players in the NFL will target injured players, everyone knows that, it's an un-talked about part of the game. But only an idiot would tell the media that they were going to do that.
Cedric Benson needs a therapist. Wasn't he arrested last year for drunk driving on a boat? And then resisting arrest (Don't taze me bro'). C'mon cedric, get it together man.
Jr hasn't had the wins lately but he has strong finishes, and a couple near misses this year kept him from the checkered flag. But Dale Sr was absolutely one of the top 2 or 3 drivers in the circuit. Anybody with common sense knows this.
And nobody should let little rexyRacer in his little radio flyer get to them, he's always been nutty as a fruit cake, and he tries too hard to be a internet tough guy. His continuous homophobic banter is just an anxiety-based behavior. One psychoanalytic explanation is that anxiety about the possibility of being or becoming a homosexual is a major factor in homophobia. He's either had one too many visits from Uncle Chester when he was a child, or according to shrinks, he's scared that he's one of 'em. So when he gets to name calling, just tell him to have his mommy make him some warm milk, and grab his binky, and take a nap.
My money's on the hitter, not the hittee.

And quit fanMailing me you dupe.
