Posted Sunday July 13, 2008, About: Pirates' Nady drawing interest
I wish the Pirates would keep Nady, Bay, and Nate, but that is very unlikely. Therefore, I hope they get value for whoever they trade because these guys are studs!
Posted Sunday July 13, 2008, About: Yankees, Red Sox chasing Pirate
If the Pirates trade Marte, they better actually get value for him which is something they haven't done in trades for a long time (Bobby Hill perfect example)!
Posted Saturday June 28, 2008, About: Pirates should look to move veteran hitters
Maybe the Pirates should bring in Bonds to play first base so he can finish his career where he started it! Also, Bonds can get three thousand hits and the Pirates can make a run at 500 while trading LaRoche who is absolutely terrible!
Posted Saturday June 28, 2008, About: DE recruit picks Pitt over BC
Pitt is so close to turning the corner...I hope this is the year they make a run at the Big East Title even though the conference is going to be tough this year with WVU, South Florida, and Rutgers.
Posted Saturday June 28, 2008, About: Jagr's Rangers return unlikely
Hossa in New York is very likely and scary as a Pens fan! I hope Hossa goes to Vancouver if he doesn't resign so the Pens won't have to worry about him!
Posted Saturday June 28, 2008, About: Bertuzzi back to Red Wings?
I agree that Bertuzzi is a goon and shouldn't be in the NHL after what he did to Moore, but I wouldn't mind seeing him in Pittsburgh with Malone and Roberts leaving. The Pens need a goon on their team that can put the puck in the net! I mean this guy would provide Crosby and Malkin great protection and a nice presence in front of the net on the power play.
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Melrose to coach Lightning
Everyone can kiss the little coverage hockey got on ESPN goodbye!
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Imus tries to explain controversial comment
OtherOne81 and bostongm talking politics...I thought you guys only knew and thought about hockey...nice to see you two are well rounded! I know the biggest issue in both of your lives right now is will either one of your teams sign Hossa or Sundin! Personally, I want the Pens to bring back Straka and Naslund to finish their careers where they started. Dare I say even Jagr!
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Bradshaw admits using steroids as player
If you weren't taking steriods in the 70's, you weren't cool!
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Bradshaw admits using steroids as player
Who gives a ****...EVERYONE did steriods in the NFL during the 70's!
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Senators looking for goalie
Ty Conklin is a solid backup who I wish would be back in Pittsburgh for next year instead of Sabu!
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Jackets in free-agent market
Malone=Overrated (good and tough player who became great from who he played with)
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Lower salary still OK with Malkin
They can do without Malone as long as Crosby and Malkin are around for awhile, wingers can come and go. Any younger winger playing with these guys can have a career year while old wingers can revive their careers. Much like Mario and Wayne these guys can play with anyone and tear it up while making the players beside them good, too!
Posted Monday June 23, 2008, About: Packers worried about NFL's future
I pray to god that the NFL doesn't become the MLB. The Packers will become the Pirates!
Posted Monday June 23, 2008, About: Predators to re-sign Weber
Wait the Predators haven't moved out of Nashville yet. haha Those hicks down there don't care about hockey!
Posted Monday June 23, 2008, About: Flyers close to signing Carter
Flyers still need a lot more pieces to win the east!
Posted Monday June 23, 2008, About: Bruins already talking to Hossa?
bostongm u would not want them to sign malone because he wants five million and there is no way in hell he is worth that! Hossa would fit in nice with Boston, but Boston still needs some more pieces to put them over the top! If Hossa leaves the Pens, the Pens can manage without him as long as they can sign a top six forward or two.
Posted Sunday June 22, 2008, About: Rangers let Avery test market
If a GM is willing to pay Dan Briere 10 million a season who knows what Avery could get...aka some GMs do not know what they are doing. Avery maybe could get four or five million on the open market.
Posted Sunday June 22, 2008, About: Hossa turns down Penguins offer
Good one Baun-ded haha If he is not playing with a stud, who knows what his production will be like especially during the playoffs.
Posted Sunday June 22, 2008, About: Canadiens GM to visit Sundin
Baun-ded I see where your coming from, but I am still not sure. I could see them making another run as long as the scenerios you stated do not happen.
Posted Sunday June 22, 2008, About: PGA Tour's oldest rookie is...
Good for him!
