If Cooke had received a game suspension and/or a fine, I wouldn't have argued. It's VERY borderline - with the line probably falling a little on the dirty side. Watching it, I think Cooke could have used his body more in that situation. The only contact that was made was on the legs. Also, unlike the Gonchar hit, Cole never saw it coming - too busy watching his shot on net.

Anyway, league discipline has been pretty much a joke this playoff season (if not the whole year). The fact that Scott Walker's AUTOMATIC one-game suspension was actually reversed is just mind-boggling - I haven't read a single blog/article ANYWHERE that supports that decision.
