Hmmm...don't think an innocuous, albeit ignorant chant at a hockey game can be compared to pre-meditated mass murder. Never really considered Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt et. al. forward thinking countries, if that's who you're referring to. And please if this country's not to your liking by all means pack up your ****, put on your balaclava & take the high road to Tora Bora .

Hmmm...didn't consider Howie Long, Marcus Allen & Jim Plunkett thugs. And if you don't think the Raiders are a marquee franchise take a look at thier road games (save for KC & Denver). Even as busted as they've been for the past several years they stil draw on the road. Tongen & Roki if you don't think for a minute the NFL would love for the Raiders to be good again then you' re both spending way too much time in the opium den. Let me guess: you're Cowboy fans right?

I am Raider fan, but Al has become a modern day Howard Hughes; a strange secretive recluse who is ruining one of the NFL's marquee franchises. For as much as he's done for the Raiders & the NFL (especially veteran players) he's destroying this franchise. Hall & Asomugha may give the Raiders two of the best corners in the league, which means opposing offenses will simply rush for 200 yards a game aginst them. Ach!

Not a bad deal; although I'm not smitten w/ Hall's proclivity for running his mouth, pairing him w/ Asomugha gives the Raiders the best 1-2 CB combo in the NFL.

Good Morning Tony- Good points on Joe, but (as you know) for the Yankees it's WS champiosnhip or bust. Plus I think it was just time for a change. I'll be interested to see what Joe does w/ the LAD; I think that will be a referendum on whether he's remembered as an all time great or a case of being in the right place @ the right time w/ the Yanks. As for Girardi, I think he'll be fine; he knows what's expected of him. I think (and hope as a Yankke fan) he's more than capable of getting the job done.
