Ok I haven't been on here much to busy watching my KC Royals! I've been telling all of you for smome time since the end of last summer. Look out for the Royals! Now do you believe me! GO ROYALS!!!!!!

Yet there still is no reference to the KC Royals on here. I'm beginning to think SI has a love affair with the yankees, the red sox, and A Fraud...........

What do you mean imagine? I have predicted the Royals will be in one of the top three positions at years end in their division. Without Manny. With him I at this time will now predict them to win the division outright.

oops that's right the Putz went to the Mets and Joe Smith another good young right hander (6-3 3.55 ERA 2008) went to cleveland. They still added a relief pitcher there in that deal.

The Indians in 2008 saw injuries to Carmona and other key players. They did finish with an 81-81 season. After they got healthy it was to late but they had a brilliant second half with a 40-28 record. With Lee, Carmona, laffery, Reyes and Sower they can easily match pitching with the teams in the central, a weak division already. Who did they add: Pavano a pitcher with no pressure and apparently healthy, as a long relief or possible 5th starter. JJ putz another relief pitcher. Mark DeRosa at third base(285 21 HR 2008) to replace blake, and of course what they really needed, K.Wood at closer. (34 saves last year with the cubs) They will be in the running in 2009.

The Royals, have as their top three in the rotation, Meche, Greinke, and Bannister to match any other team also in the Central. Their bull pen still has Soria, (42 saves in 2008) a very good closer. They got Farnsworth from Detroit as one of the possible bridges to Soria. Farnsworth actually pitched well against the twins and the OK against other teams in this weak division. They got Jacobs (32 HR in 2008)from the Marlins. Also got Coco Crisp a switch hitter with speed who hit 283 last year. Last year the Royals had a very good start then slowed by some injuries, and had a dismal August. But got a good second wind and finished healthy with a 19-8 record for September. Of the six months of the season, if they have 3 months like 2008 Septemeber, which they are capable of doing, they certainly will be in the running in this division.

It has not been a pleasure to spank you, as I would rather lightly spank Jennifer Aniston. No insults please just accept defeat.

Gagne going to the twins is not going to help them that much. Experienced yes, but his tank is running on empty. The division will be experiencing new life with the Indian's improvements and the Royals improvements in the off season. The Indians showed new life in the second half last year. The Royals came on with a 19-8 record in September '08. It'll be the Twins, the Indians and the Royals fighting it out.
