Idiots!! Why spit on a guy and make him mad before the game!! Maybe if you hadn't spit on him, you wouldn't have gotten your a@@es kicked so bad!!! However, Daniel should have done something about it then rather than leaked it to the media after the game, seems kind of immature and would not prove anything.

Don't write him off just yet. After coming off of 3 straight bowl seasons, and only the 2nd, 3rd and 4th bowl games in school history, he should get a little slack. While he may have underestimated the team, I'm interested in how he corrects things by next year. If they are still a subpar team in 2009, then you have an argument, but see how effectively he reacts first.

Teel won't be there next year, so they need to see who is ready to step up. While the season is not lost, they need to see who else can play. Chris Paul-Ettiene would be my first choice.

I live in the Northeast and I don't see this as a case of everyone thinking the Northeast is the greatest. The issue is why a player would turn down an opportunity to go to the playoffs. While I think that his reasons are sound, most players long to make the playoffs and it is a story when one blocks a trade to go to a contendor, no matter where they are located. He probably would have blocked a trade to go to the Cubs, Twins, Marlins or Rays.

I woiuldn't call Dahntay Jones depth at the position so that you can trade JR Smith. Jones is an 11th or 12th guy on your team, not a starting shooting guard. Keep JR, or at least look for a replacement in return, wherever you trade him.

Ray Ray will be tough to replace. However, the offense will need to rely on the passing game, which is very strong. If Kevin Brock can continue his progress, they won't need the running backs to carry 35 times a game like Ray used to.

I would love to see the Bankees sign Zambrano. Maybe Matt Morris will want to make a comeback. Hint - If your ERA in AAA is greater than your shoe size, better days are behind you. After watching Victor pitch for the Mets a couple of years ago, I agree with the comment that he will throw 100 pitches by the 4th or 5th inning, with 5 K's, 3 hits, 6 walks and a couple of hit batters. He can be unhittable, but that was in 2002, not 2008. I hope he gets a good movie on his flight, not some "My Best Friend's Wedding" crap. And maybe an extra bag of peanuts.

Greg is staying, as are his recruits from a potential Top 15, definite Top 25 class if he keeps it up. Enough said. The man knows how to recruit. Even if he left, I don't think that all would leave since many have said that they also really like their position coaches, assuming that they stay. Time to get used to it. Rutgers is becoming a major player and is getting the recruits that would have never considered them. RU is even stealing recruits from eastern PA and South Jersey, both longtime PSU hot spots.

That had to be the most ridiculous statement I have ever read here. The Yankees shelled out the money for the construction, team payroll has nothing to do w/ this, the 400 million being asked is to pay for the future services, the current construction contracts the legal fees this has nothing to do in the project finishing or not Heck the Mets are kicking nowhere near what the Yankees are kicking in for thier new stadium and the city has given them a handout, the Yankees have paid for just about everything this has to do w/ them calling for city officials to kick in thier pockets too, besides they are the ones who will be benefiting from this since the New Stadium is going to be used for more things than just baseball, meaning new jobs and new business.

Waaaa. They should pay for the costs of the stadium, as they will get the benefits. They should pay for future services and legal costs. I agree with Mk that the $400 million could be spent on better things than additional costs on an already overpriced stadium.
