I agree with you that's why SU has been in the dumps no 4 or 5 star QB play, yes they got one for a year that's been out of the sport for 4 year. But lets look at the overall picture and ask ourselves why aren;t we recruiting well anymore. As post #18 said UConn started a program what 10 years ago and look at where they are now and Rutgers after decades rebuilt back into prominence we have faultered they are keeping kids in state. But lets look at the SU players of old how many came out of Florida, tons of them and now with FIU, FAU, UCF, USF those recruits we used to get stay home now instead of playing for us. This is what Coach Marrone now has to deal with and until we get those 4 and 5 star blue chippers back in the Dome we are still gonna be down and out bottom feeders of the Big East in football.

Man do i agree with him the NFL has taken away so much fun out of the game over the years it's not funny. I sure hope we can field another PRO league or 2 like the up and coming UFL, hopeflly we will see the "NEW" USFL, AAFL, and NGFL all start up in 2010 because it's time for more football leagues to not only help out the NFL but to put the squeeze on them to fix salaries and lower prices to more affordable levels for the common man

Well if it's like many other drafts that haven;t had a real clear cut QB which this one doesn't and all those that came out should have stayed in school..ie Stafford(could never win the big games under pressure), Sanchez(not enough games played in his college career), Freeman(talented but needs work), and many others like Clement, Daniels are being left out when they had better careers
