I could definitely see the spurs coming in to pick him up. They are going to sell some people this summer and IMO I think they could use him. Its a good club but the biggest downside is they wont be participating in Europe this coming year.

I have to disagree with j11forbes and MSFC3221, the biggest problems with all the stadium negotiations that MacFarlane had a hand in was that he was going after a larger chunk of land for mix use development. Also because there would be more then just a stadium he was asking more from the state governments.

With Chang seeking only a stadium then it opens up a bigger pool of locations (i.e. less land needed more options) throughout the area. Chang also might not have to seek public funding because it would be a smaller project, in the chance that he does seek public funding then it would be for a smaller chunk making the stadium more attractive to local governments.

Best thing that could have happened. Chang was always more interested in the team then MacFarlane was.

BuffaloTF is dead on about tearing down RFK. Dan "the money grubbing redskin ruining" Snyder has a kung fu grip on that site.

And united has already tried to look at sites in NVA a few years ago but got shot down because of local opposition complaining about traffic and the lights. Plus taxes would be ridiculous in VA. I would love for them to have a site in Alexandria or Arlington but I just don't see it happening.

Look totally agree with warden about the legal fees. The news outlets act like this is such a huge chunk of change for both schools but they both have lawyers on retainer for these type of issues. So in the end the legal part should have been nothing to them. But i would like to point out to warden that our corrupt President is leaving so we have gotten a handle on the corruption; has Michigan gotten a handle on there Professor corruption scandal? Don't be a hypocrite.

Im a WVU fan and I don't blame RR for this. No matter how "good" or Bad" your coach is there are always bound to be some bad seeds that come along with almost all programs. Its good to see Stewart not putting up with this kind of thing. But a situation like this is maybe not as easy as it would seem; because there is always potential for a legal issue dealing with students and a university to turn into another Duke lacrosse fiasco. In conclusion, I don't care about RR nor do I want to talk about him, whats done is done, its over and life as a WVU fan will go on.

Orlando, Well said and quite inspiring. This "sports" agent is an idiot. Its got more tv exposure then ever before. The deal MLS signed last year with ESPN is the biggest TV deal they've ever signed. The slow growth model that the MLS has is great and insures that it wont be like the quick too burn NASL.

I agree with edub187 I think the media is dwelling on this more then the fans. I think a few "fans" are try to capitalize on the issue and for the most part are able to because the media seems to report these "stories". I also would like to point out that this story does come from the Detroit free press, of course there going to find every possible story to make Michigan's coach look better.
