I have to disagree. When did it become so easy to get red cards for slide tackles? It used to be that red cards were reserved for when they were actually deserved, like fighting, taking down the last man, two yellows, and tackles from behind.

This new "red card for any slide tackle that misses" policy has gotten completely out of hand and it corrupts games.

This would be a disaster. We don't need another forward on the team. We need foremost Tim Howard, then Oguchi and Bocanegra, or perhaps one of the last two and Donovan or Beasley. McBride's never even been that good. This would be an insanely stupid move...wouldn't surprise me if its' Nowak's "brain"child
