Robinson probably did a two then went into the gaurd/reserve would be my bet. I also think his value as a recruiter was far more than any other position the navy could have found for him. Also if you ever watched him during National Anthems he was at attention unlike most pro players who look like they could care less. Hennings did his 4 swapped to ANG and then joined the Cowboys. I bet if you have the skill set to go pro you can work some plan out with the higher ups in the military to get it done. And be a spokesman for your service.

"3. Nadal vee Federer
5. Spain vee Holland, (dont be suprised if this is the finals in the Euro 2012!)
6. real madrid vee barca
8. new zealand vee australia, (rugby, these 2 have been power houses for decades)
10. Contador vee Schlek, (i should get bonus points for mentioning the Tour De France, baby!!!)"

Are Joo kidding me?
Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins
tOSU vs. UM
Carl Edwards vs. Brad Kaselowski
Pete Rose vs. Hall of Fame
Hell I think all NCAA football rivalries should be better than #10.
Let???s see:
OU-UT
UT-TAMU
Auburn-Bama
Florida-Bama
FSU-Miami (I don???t see no flaming spear hurling Indians in France, hell they would surrender to him I bet.)
PSU-OSU
WVU-UL
Wisc-Minn
Nebraska-OU
Oh and even though it sucks currently
USC-ND

Just because the Tour is happening right now doesn't make people care about it. And just because NCAA football isn't doesn't mean people dont.
Posted Tuesday July 20, 2010, About: Top 5 athletes that retired too soon!
Williams retired so that he would not be suspended. If he wouldn't have retired and came back I would say Michael Schumacher. If I had a list it would proabably be:

1. Jim Brown (I would say he could have been this best running back ever.)
2. Barry Sanders (I don't think there has ever been a player that wanted his team to win more....Mr. James in Maimi could learn something here)
3. M.J. (I can understand he didn't have anything left to accomplish but why unretire then?)
4. Lance Armstrong (Retired at the top of his game (see #3) but came back to do more?)
5. Michael Schumacher (So many world championships won only to retire. Arguably the best driver to race F-1.)

Tom Nalen pick #218 of 1994 NFL draft. 5-time Pro Bowler & 2-time First-Team All-Pro
Who rushed for 1000+ yards in Denver? Terrell Davis 1995-1998, Orlandis Gary 1999, Mike Anderson 2000, Clinton Portis 2003, Reuben Droughns 2004, and Tatum Bell 2006.

If your offensive line has that many running backs crack 1K then you know what is working. Yes Denver employed the zone blocking scheme for this time frame which means Nalen was calling the blocking assignments. You want to argue TD his O-line was anchored by this man. He should be a first ballot Hall of Famer but since he was an offensive lineman he won't be.

Okay so let me get this straight, Ben can't keep his pants up at a party, in a bar, or in the woods. Hell, instead of suspending him for 6 weeks they should just not let him wear a cup for six weeks. If he is determend to let it out there why not let him. I bet after those six weeks of below the belt brutality he will put on an iron chastity belt and not want to take it off even to sleep in.

England is a great choice, and it falls in the Europe then somewhere else routine. Of course Canada or Brazil would make good choices too.

This topic makes me want to start a TD with Dallas Cowboys "White House" or the Vikings "Sex Cruise" which party would you rather have been at?
Posted Wednesday July 07, 2010, About: Current Face of the Franchise NFL style
I hate to say it but "face of the franchise" might not be current for teams on the downside right now. If your discuss the Dolphins right now Parcells is probably not the first person you think of. My point was if you pick Elway over Tebow then I would think you would pick Marino over Parcells.

I also think that Farve will never be the "face" in Minnesota. He will always be remembered in a Green Bay jersey. That alone makes it hard for me to see him as a "face" of Minnesota. I would choose AP over him by a mile.

Oh and as for Tampa Bay what if their "face" of their franchise isn't a player but that cool pirate ship in the end zone?

If the beef here is Elway and the Broncos then why not change Miami to Marino? I am sure there hasn't been too much success there since he left.
Posted Friday July 02, 2010, About: Lifer v Porkins - Better RF, Ichiro or Roberto Clemente?
Porkins loves Asians, espcially when they are bringing him egg rolls.
What about Salt Lake City? You could gobble up the Utah,BYU, and Boise St. Fan base. Plus with as rabbid as thier NBA fans are you could have a good draw. But......eh the NFL needs to stand pat on teams for a while (IMO).
