Robinson probably did a two then went into the gaurd/reserve would be my bet. I also think his value as a recruiter was far more than any other position the navy could have found for him. Also if you ever watched him during National Anthems he was at attention unlike most pro players who look like they could care less. Hennings did his 4 swapped to ANG and then joined the Cowboys. I bet if you have the skill set to go pro you can work some plan out with the higher ups in the military to get it done. And be a spokesman for your service.

Evander's speed when he was LHW wasn't anything to take lightly. I do seem to recall in one of his earlier fights he one hit KOed a guy an then hit him 7 times while he was falling to the canvas. But hey that was the 80's and I have been drunk alot of times since then.

Williams retired so that he would not be suspended. If he wouldn't have retired and came back I would say Michael Schumacher. If I had a list it would proabably be:

1. Jim Brown (I would say he could have been this best running back ever.)
2. Barry Sanders (I don't think there has ever been a player that wanted his team to win more....Mr. James in Maimi could learn something here)
3. M.J. (I can understand he didn't have anything left to accomplish but why unretire then?)
4. Lance Armstrong (Retired at the top of his game (see #3) but came back to do more?)
5. Michael Schumacher (So many world championships won only to retire. Arguably the best driver to race F-1.)

If your offensive line has that many running backs crack 1K then you know what is working. Yes Denver employed the zone blocking scheme for this time frame which means Nalen was calling the blocking assignments. You want to argue TD his O-line was anchored by this man. He should be a first ballot Hall of Famer but since he was an offensive lineman he won't be.

I hate to say it but "face of the franchise" might not be current for teams on the downside right now. If your discuss the Dolphins right now Parcells is probably not the first person you think of. My point was if you pick Elway over Tebow then I would think you would pick Marino over Parcells.

I also think that Farve will never be the "face" in Minnesota. He will always be remembered in a Green Bay jersey. That alone makes it hard for me to see him as a "face" of Minnesota. I would choose AP over him by a mile.
