Just dumb. He played at Cal. He coached at SJSU. Great reporting.
Posted Wednesday July 25, 2007, About: Insider: Holdout Quinn has no leverage
Scientific, you may very well be the dumbest poster in the history of blogs. Quinn has Leaf and Couch written all over him. He repeatedly said during combines that he should be #1 hands down, and now rather than be thankful for the position he's in, he might hold out. The Browns aren't going to give him the top ten money that Condon is after, and if pretty boy Quinn played his cards right, he might have been able to recoup his contract losses by getting some endorsements (Nair, Women's razor blades), but he's blown that idea too since you and his mother are the only two people on earth that seem to like him.

Quinn will be done and out of the league by 2012.

Sit and spin. It's big bags of Summer's Eve like you who can side with agents like Condon and Rosenhaus that ruin sports. Why don't you go back to your Wall St. Journal and check up on your portfolio, tool.

Hahaha. Get a grip, you little Napoleon. Where's the whining, except for you cacophonic "getting screwed, Waa-waa!" I didn't ask to change anything either you little prick, maybe if you took your Brady Quinn man-crush somewhere, you'd realize how in the minority you and your tiny-tim complex are. I'm glad you're so prepared to deal with it, did you suck your thumb or crawl under a blanket? How exactly do you get yourself to deal with a quarterback holding out? You're an idiot to enth degree.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: No progress in Browns-Quinn talks
Scientific, are you Scott Boras? If not, then you must be Drew Rosenhaus. The precedent is pretty effing clear. You get paid the money that your draft slot earns. You keep talking about he might screw himself with a bad deal. Guess what, Scientific, Quinn is already screwing himself. How is getting paid like the 20-something draft pick that you are a bad deal? You seem to have least sense of reality of anyone who's posted here.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: Braves to scout Giants talent?
The Giants best players right now (except for that one guy) are all from their farm system. The free agents the team picks up all seem to be big disappointments, especially considering how much they make. Shea Hillebrand, Morris, Klesko, Zito (of course), and even Vizquel to an extent. The Giants need to spend money better, and no team, not the Braves, no one except the Yankees maybe, will pick up these players and their ridiculous contracts. The sad part is, once Bonds is gone, the Giants will overpay big time for a big-name player, surround him with the likes of Pedro Feliz, and continue to flounder.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: Packers still sold on Rodgers
He is a Tedford quarterback, and I think by arm talent they mean accuracy. He can hit receivers, and he's really smart, so he'll hopefully be able to nail down the offense and transition quickly. It just sucks that Brett won't really mentor him (he's too selfish to help Aaron out), and that the fans expectations for Rodgers will be way too high. He deserves better than what he's dealt with so far. I know that the Raiders really wanted him, but management in Green Bay really like him.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: No progress in Browns-Quinn talks
Rookies are supposed to screw themselves on their first deal? These guys, every single one of the first round picks, are going to be millionaires. How, exactly, are they "screwing" themselves by taking the money that is market value for where they were picked? If Cleveland didn't go out on a limb, Brady would have fallen further, but maybe Brady's memory sucks, and he forgot about how dumb he looked while he was scurrying away to the commissioner's box. Aggrieved fans only want these millionaires to suck it up and play, instead of holding out, and hiring these moronic agents who screw the fans in the process of getting the fattest commissions that they can.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: No progress in Browns-Quinn talks
Are you serious? Condon works for Brady. Scientific, are you saying that Quinn has no control over this? You're calling people naive for thinking that Brady Quinn is responsible for what his agent, the man who is his employee, does? OF COURSE BRADY HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS! Quinn hires Condon for a reason, Scientific, to look out for Brady's best interests. It is definitely in Brady's best interests to sign quickly, avoid a holdout, win over the Cleveland fans, and learn the Browns system as best he can as quickly as he can... none of which is possible if he holds out.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: Braves to scout Giants talent?
Morris's contract is god-awful. The braves can't really be thinking about taking on that monster of a mess that the Giants signed Morris to. Morris and Klesko will add zilch to that braves team, and the SJ Mercury News is using "wishful thinking" for journalistic research here. There's no way anyone in ATL is seriously considering either of them.
Posted Monday July 23, 2007, About: No progress in Browns-Quinn talks
tee-dub, well said, man. What Quinn doesn't realize is that he has to STFU, sign on the line, and play. If he really is as good as he thinks he is, then his second contract will be for some big time money. Maybe his top-notch ND education didn't let him realize this, or, he probably realizes that he isn't as good as he thinks he is, and he wants all the money he can get before he goes all "Tim Couch" on the Browns.
Posted Sunday July 22, 2007, About: Nets' failed 3-team blockbuster
DJSuxsomuch, you would take odom over wallace any day? This is why you're retarded. Odom's making over 12 mill next year, saddling the lakers with his ridiculous salary, and he's on the downside of his career. With Wallace, the lakers would have had a young, strong player on the upside of his career, AND saved over 3 million. Getting rid of Odom would have opened the door for the Lakers to start getting better players (in the draft and thru free agency), but they instead opt to keep old Odom and let him rob them of 12 million next year.

Baseball is SOOOOOO exciting! Watch the exact same moves (pitch, try to hit, pitch, try to hit, rinse, repeat) and you end up with a whopping score 2-1. Yipee! America, as a whole, is so used to these high scoring, fast-paced games with so much variation. Eatincheese coached little leaguers for 3 years and slept with some of the players. He's now a registered sex offender!
Posted Thursday July 19, 2007, About: Vols RB won't forget fumble
I feel bad for this kid. When the Cal's Zack Follett rocks him out of his skull on a 2nd and short call, he won't even be able to remember the fumble. Look for Tenn to stumble out of the gates: Cal 30 UT 21
Posted Thursday July 19, 2007, About: MLS Earthquakes to rumble again
You idiots. No star players want to play in crappy Philly, Indy, or nashville. The real stars of soccer (european and south american born players), want to come to California. Having a team in San Jose again makes perfect sense, and further proves that AEG was as retarded as Britney Spear's babies for moving the team to Houston. Wolffe is a hell of an owner, and it won't be long until Zidane or some other real soccer player (not some loser like Landonovan) comes to play for the Quakes (although Aftershocks would have been a better name for this team). IrishR#1 only in your dreams, loser.
Posted Monday July 16, 2007, About: Recruit thinks Weis is 'cool guy'
Sexton, stop lying, everyone knows the only DVD you own is the Austria GayTV 2006 season boxed set.

Chuck is a fat guy. He's not cool. He can't stop sweating and salivating every time he thinks of a Famous Dave's plate of Ribs, or the Deli section at Meijer's. This isn't news. This is so dumb. Do they report when recruits think that Bob Stoops is a gentleman and a scholar?

Posted Wednesday July 11, 2007, About: Was Adu playing out of position?
The moves he put on in the corner before the second goal against Brazil were 'raw' talent. He has everything a player could ask for, but the third-rate coaches in the MLS have no effing clue how to harness that talent and mold something from it. Landonovan had the same thing, but he went to Germany, rode the bench, whined like a little girl, and came back to play for LA. Then he was schooled and fooled over and over again at the 2006 WC. Freddy needs to be on a plane heading to the first premier league, spanish league, and/or serie A training field he can find. Otherwise, he's the second coming of Landonovan.
Posted Wednesday July 11, 2007, About: Red Bull questions Galaxy's moves
Lalas is the **** of all ****. He and Landon Cryagain are the reason LA sucks, and Lalas's keen ability to eff up everything he touches are another reason why the MLS is such a joke.
Posted Wednesday July 11, 2007, About: Lalas: Beckham hype hurts Galaxy
Lalas is a tool. Plain and simple. He needs to bring attention to the plight of his crappy MLS team, and what better way than to whine and snivel for the press. He makes excuses faster than a 5 year old boy. He was a hack as a player, and he's an even bigger hack as an exec. Beckham coming to the states is the biggest thing that ever happened to the MLS (hands-down), and Lalas should just go home, cuddle up in bed with Landon Donavon, and be happy that he has a job.
