I don't blame Carl for bumping Kyle to get by. It's what you do at Bristol and should be expected. That said Carl should get ready for a little payback down the road. The rest of the races until we get to the Chase are completely meaningless to Kyle - it's win or nothing. And if Carl is in Kyle's way my guess would be that Kyle won't even wait a half of a lap to bump past him.
Man, I'm getting excited now. How fun would it be to see an old-school rivalry between guys who would love nothing more than to wreck either other on the way to victory lane?!
Unless I'm miscounting, in 2006 Kasey had 6 wins, 12 top 5s, and 18 top 10s.
They simply aren't as deep as some of the top teams. Love Sadler, but he isn't cutting it. And the #10 car hasn't done well either. Ray really needs another top talent in the #10 and he would be fine.
Either way, I think it's a little crazy to suggest they haven't been good enough to keep racing.
The sad part is some of these guys aren't ready for Cup (see: Allmendinger or McDowell). They bomb against the big boys and it wrecks their confidence and sponsor's confidence.
Yet, here it says "Cowboys racing Eagles to Boldin?" as if the Cowboys are already in negotiations with the Cards. But there is the question mark at the end so that makes it ok.
Atlanta won't lose a race because there are way too many corporate sponsors based in Atlanta.
It's possible she could be willing to give Tony a percentage, just as she was willing to give Junior a percentage. I just don't think she was willing to give up control of her company. Honestly not sure that she made the right decision, but I can't blame her for that.
What if we put up "quiet" signs before every pitch in baseball?
Ever watched a guy shoot free throws in basketball? All kinds of distractions. Same thing with kickers in football. In fact, one of the great things about playing at home in the NFL is the ability to try and make it difficult for the opposing teams to hear the calls because of the crowd noise.
I agree with the previous commenter. Be happy anyone cares about your game. Same goes to you, Tennis.
Yeah, we're the dumb ones.
"It wouldn't be a popular decision for many fans, and surely the sponsor would have something to say. But it would be the best move for Almirola's future in the sport."
Seems like you answered your own question there. If the fans don't like it and the sponsors don't like it, why would you do it? The sport isn't built around taking care of the kids. It's about selling tickets and making fans happy. The sponsors aren't paying to make Almirola happy. They paid for the arrangement as laid out; there is no changing it.
