I wonder if Jr called the other drivers whose race ended prematurely due to his stupidity. At least this maneuver lets NASCAR off the hook. As long as he apologizes, they don't have to pretend he didn't do anything wrong, right?

Zooby: The rule does not make provision for "not losing a spot". If you go below the yellow, you get back into traffic where you can, or you wreck a few cars if you lack the proper skills to do so.

The only differences between Leffler and Junior:
- Leffler wrecked fewer cars (probably because he is a better driver).
- NASCAR does not pamper Leffler due to his name.
- Leffler does not drive for Captain Consumer Fraud, NASCARs favorite owner.
- NASCAR knows Junior Nation will see whatever they need to to justify their worship of a mediocre driver.

Unfortunately, NASCAR is in a catch-22 situation. Viewership is down, the lame coverage and lousy rule interp are driving away the real fans so NASCAR has to cater to the masses of Junior Nation to retain their fan numbers, and this drives more of the REAL fans of the sport away.

Does anyone know when Wrestling is on? At least that is ALMOST realistic....

Don't understand this decision. Skinner has never been a very effective Cup driver. Too reckless, lacks patience. AJ was improving every race. Why not keep him in the car to finish out the year?

Don't think so. He left pit road at least 3 seconds before anyone else. And his car was faster (after 10 laps or so) with 4 tires than with two (comparing lap times for his 2-tire run to his later 4-tire run).

Did anyone see the debris that caused the 9th caution (109 laps to go)? Usually they make a point of showing it on the jumbo, but they didn't, and I never saw the cleanup crew pick anything up. That caution was very convenient for Golden Boy Jimmy Johnson, but I was hoping to get some more info before the Conspiracy Theorists start barking...
