There are 1 or 2 plays every game that Tony Romo changes the course of the game with. For the most part he changes it for the worse of his team but it just so happens his team is good enough to still win some of those games even with his poor performance. If they had someone less talented but that was consistent they would be better off in the long run of most games.

Doesn't mean this year is lost and as for him being an average driver... Even DW said any other driver last week would have wrecked that piece of crap car Eury (THE CREW CHIEF) gave him to drive. That car was junk. Now I do understand that it was setup for the night before but how come the other HMS drivers were able to dial their cars in but Jr's car was dog crap all day. You can't blame that on Dale Jr. That blame falls squarely on Eury. I was wondering if they'd put his Uncle Tony Eury Sr as his Chief if that would help or of the goal is to get away from the family connection?

His father was one of the greatest of all time. When you have a father that is just that good, you can't expect his to be that good or close to it. It is rare where the son reaches that elite level. Yes they do exceed the dad sometimes but more often they do not. Jr, is a great driver but his dad was over the top phenomenal. Now that being said, Jr's problems lie in two areas and one of them is his cousin. Eury Jr. should NOT be his Crew Chief. In fact Eury Jr should switch with Eury Sr. Let the uncle take over and let's find out what Dale Jr truly has. If Sr. can't get him to win then I don't think anyone can. BUT Eury Jr, does NOTHING to improve the car over the long hall. Jr's car is the same at the end as it is at the beginning and sometimes it's A LOT worse then the way it started. Eury Jr must go.
