that said, i'm much happier that HoJo is the new coach instead of Henderson.

that year, arizona went 77-85 and still finished second in that division. so yes, his era was high, but his team really sucked. his ERA this year is a run lower and he'll have a pitching coach that actually coaches.
i think its a good move for the mets. they'll probably re-sign victor zambrano.
I'll take vasquez any day over contreras. put him in the NL with a pitching coach who actually coaches, and he should excel.
will their theme song be Monty Python?
"I am a big believer in that if you live in this country, you speak English...not Spanish. With America being the big "melting pot",the only thing that holds us all together as Americans is the language."
The US has no Official Language. What we refer to as "English" is a bastardization of England's official language. To Brits, Americans sound like they're speaking in Ebonics.
"A friend of mine moved to Texas with his family a year ago.He speaks English but can't get a job because he doesn't speak Spanish.I am sorry, but not being able to speak another countries language shouldn't be a reason to not get a job.
When you go to another country, they don't adapt to your language, you adapt to thiers. The hispanics in this country that refuse to speak English,IMHO,are just to damn lazy and should be sent back to whatever country they came from."
Apparently, grammar and spelling are not your strong points either. It's "country's" for possessive, not the plural "countries". Also, its "theirs" not "thiers".
Most educated people around the world write and speak in more than one language. If you had to talk with the New York press everyday, you'd want to say as little as possible, just like Beltran.
For the record, my favorite player on the team is Endy Chavez, who is on the DL right now. you can't understand 2 words coming out of the guy's mouth when he speaks. He's no HOF-er, but he can play the game.
