But why is a defense lawyer "scum" just for taking a case? Are all defense attorneys scum then?
Nobody here was at that club, and it's more likely that the shooter was with somebody else. Pacman is alleged to have come with his PR lady, ONE body guard, and another "lady friend"; and they all backed up what he said. While rappers Nelly and Jermaine DuPree are there with large crowds, so where are they in this case? It's just easier to pin it on Pacman because he's had a awful past.
To me, that is far more important than sticking some celeb with a misdemeanor. I mean, a guy is paralyzed for christsakes, and all the fuzz can do is keep announcing they have a good case on Pacman. But here we are 5 months later and still the police are announcing they can get pacman on some misdemeanor inciting charges. So atleast read the rest of an article before you judge somebody's character, because you're obviously not informed.
The fans turnout was always very solid, probably better than most, but they have little corporate support. I hope that the team doesn't move, especially after this season when fans were really starting to get into it, but it may be inevitable. Any of you who say Nashville isn't a good city for a hockey team, venture down there to watch a game. The fans are a lot more lively than most and pretty intense. If this Basillie can generate some interest among companies in Nashville like the business-savvy guy he's supposed to be, there should be no reason to move.
However, those charges are going to have a tough time sticking, as DNA tests concerning the "inciting a fight" issues (a supposed bite mark) came back negative, twice, for Pacman. So the LVPD is really botching this one up... the longer a case goes, the more likely the police probably are clueless as to where to take the case, and the less likely they'll be able to bring forth charges that could stick. Way to go pigs
