Posted Monday January 19, 2009, About: Alvarez ineligible for El Salvador
i had season tix the whole time he was here in Dallas. the kid can play.....well, the kid can play going forward. he works hard on the ball, he does some good things with the ball, and he can score some amazing goals, but he does not seem to want to do the little things off the ball to make himself a real contender for a call up. he does not track back well. he coplains when he is not given the ball in the right spot for him, and tackling? well, let's just say that is not his forte. if he can shore up those areas of his game, then BB should give him a look. if not, hell i say let him play for El Salvador, whether he is eligible or not. at least then, when he lined up against US, BB would know our right flank will have a lot of time and space getting forward.
Posted Monday October 06, 2008, About: Beckham's American dream turned nightmare?
well, since NI does not have a real league, i guess they have to write about something. why don't we see if we can get the Galaxy to play against Linfield or Derry City, and see if they hit record attendance when Becks steps on the field and who wins that match. He may be a step slow, and his team may struggle, but he has made a huge impact here, and i am sure they would love to see him play in NI. plus, i am not sure the quality of football in NI, is that great, considering they haven't qualified for a world cup since 86, and they have a total of 3 wins in the WC, with 2 of the 3 coming in 1958. suck it Belfast Telegraph.

1. i am glad we got this kid, he can play, and will be a good player for either country in the future, so i am glad it will be the US.
2. Rossi has chosen his team, but when you look at their roster he will probably not even be chosen to play for them in 2010. he has to hope for 2014. he could play for the Red, White, and Blue in every game leading up to the next WC, and every game leading up to 2014, and 2018. screw him anyway, he doesn't want to play for US, so i hope he sits until 2014 for the Italians.
3. Subotic, will be one hell of a player, and we need that kid to come here and play for US. if we can get him, project 2010, may be okay. if not, we need to start working on project 2014.

I'm with Mozart on this one. Gulbis, wet shirt. Hmm.... I can see it now, Gary McCord out there on the 18th green with a pitcher of beer, pouring it all over Natalie ater she gets out of the dirty ass lake, going"what do you think guys?" and everyone at the tournament starts to chant, Take it off, take it off! now that would get the LPGA some serious ratings.
Posted Monday March 10, 2008, About: Notables left off U.S. roster
okay, i have FC Dallas season tickets, and i used to be a huge Alvarez fan, because he has flashes of brilliance some days, but yet, he never wants to do any of the dirty work. he doesn't care to tackle , track back , or distribute the ball on a regular basis. his main interest is getting on the FSC highlight show. he has a huge bag of tricks and cheeky moves, and can score some unbelievable goals, but some times you need to show up and get dirty, and he is not the guy to fill that role. i think his work ethic and lack of commitment to the team have held him back once again and that is very sad.

I believe Willie has Glaucoma, and the weed he had on him was probably medicinal.
Posted Thursday January 24, 2008, About: MLS loosens charter flight rules
seriously, they can't take charters? WTH? that is nuts. i hate to say it, but it is another case where it makes the MLS look like a bush league.

3 things you don't do as a man:
1. physically harm a woman
2. physically harm a child
3. physically harm an animal
not necessarily in that order. kill a man, and you may be okay, but do any of the other 3 and you WILL be tried in the court of public opininon.

Posted Thursday November 29, 2007, About: D.C., Revolution scout Argentina
my question is, would you rather play football in a poverty stricken football crazy nation, or come to America, be a star, get rich (kind of), and live in a country where we call it soccer and most of the game is spent with the fans seated.
Posted Monday November 05, 2007, About: No drastic changes for FC Dallas
actually they ditched Marcel Saragosa, the Brazillian born MFer that they picked up from LA last year. they need someone to compliment Clarence Goodson in the back. he has been developing well under Morrow, but we do not have anyone else to fill that role.
Posted Friday November 02, 2007, About: Judge: Reid home 'drug emporium'
did i miss something. they are 22 and 24. why the hell are their parents letting them live at home? when they get out and head home, Andy should have all of their crap packed up and on the front porch with a note that says "Walgreens is officially closed."
Posted Tuesday October 30, 2007, About: Mack fires at media, Texas fans
i know it is great fun to bash Texas and Mack, but the Mack daddy is 100-22 in his 10th year at Texas, which is not bad. Stoops is 93-20 in his 9th year, also not bad. each have a national championship, and a Heisman trophy winner. Mack has beaten ou 4 times and Stoops has beaten Texas 6 times. pretty close on the stats, but overall head to head is dominated by Texas 57-40-5. and for all of the fans of the University of Texas school for agriculture and mechanics, which later became A&M. yes Texas owns you as well, 73-35-5.
Posted Tuesday October 30, 2007, About: Franchione defends Sooner joke
it's an **** joke. it is amazing that all of the sooner nation get upset with this, when half of their spirit wear has an unside down longhorn on it. take a freaking joke. Fran's gone, who cares. it's like the "book em' horns" shirts i saw at the Texas/ou game. it is true, it is funny, it sucks if your a Texas fan, but what can you do, it's a joke. gag em' faggies.
Posted Monday October 29, 2007, About: Why Adu's stock keeps rising
either way, Adu and Jozy will be a great combo for the next 12+ years. also, i would like to say how much i enjoy the soccer haters getting on and making comments about how soccer sucks. they may not like it, but they get on our site and post. i am not a NASCAR fan, but i never get on there and bag on the people who like it, or the sport itself. funny. also Freddy is 18, not 20+. at 5'7", 145lbs. he may actually be 17.
Posted Tuesday October 23, 2007, About: Arsenal linked to French players
this last weekend ARSEnal had 1 Englishman on the roster (Walcott) and he started on the bench, yet the FA wonders why they struggle internationally.
Posted Thursday October 11, 2007, About: German team's Israeli controversy

Posted Thursday October 11, 2007, About: Will Rossi play for Team USA?
it is amazing if you think about it. he could step in at his age (20-21), and he could be the best American striker, ever. instead, he wold rather wait around and buy his time to get into the national fold in Italy, and then he will always be the next "insert Italian great here." (Baggio, Del Piero, Inzaghi, Schillaci(if he only has 1 great tournament)
Posted Monday October 01, 2007, About: Man U. lands next George Best
well, if he can drink and party half as much as Georgie Best, i like him already. as for the Barca kid, WOW, he is realer than real deal holyfield.
Posted Thursday September 13, 2007, About: U.S. goalie sounds off on critics
Howard is pretty solid. Boca is coming into his own and even captained his side, US and club, recently. gooch, on the otehr hand, can't get out of Belgium. they don't want him, so they send him out on loan, and then Newcastle don't keep him. not that i blame Newcastle, he was dreadful for them. i hate to say it, but for all of the athletic talent he has, he is not much of a footballer. i have to side with the pundits on that one.
Posted Monday September 10, 2007, About: Bayern Munich striker leaving?
Roy is leaving Bayern? crap. what next, Beckham is going to America? Robben is going to leave Chelsea? well, as long as Henry never leaves Arsenal, i guess i am okay with this move.
