I think the media just chose to read into this in a negative manner.
his best fits would be the Clippers...although in Houston under a Rick Adelman system he could flourish...look what it did for Mike Bibby. And Francis and Bibby have similar skills sets...although his shots would be limited behind T-Mac and Yao.
I dont think Brevin Knight will accept a back up role on the Knicks, so signing him is unlikely...although it'd be nice....having a veteran/experienced true PG.
He should stay where he is at, that's where he has established himself...and now he can team up with J-Rich and be a pretty lethal combo on the wings and run with him and Felton.
How much longer is Knight under contract for?
Balkman can be can Artest like player in a few years....admit it, cmoing out of college no one thought Artest was going to be the type of defensive stopper and an actual option on offense that he has turned out to be...I doubt Balkman can be a weapon on offense, but I think he can be a cross between Rodman and Artest....in terms of ON THE COURT skills and playing.
liontut.....depending on some moves, Collins will have a decent year, but he wont have a HUUUGGEEE year until he is the starting point guard and Steph is either gone or is gettin less minutes and that probably wont happen until ATLEAST next season. It depends what your definition of huge/break out season is though.
Isiah has been cited as saying that unless it's Kobe or KG, Lee and Balkman are off the table....jus a little FYI for ya JKlipp...
It's good that he is making role and energy players untouchable because he honing in on the team concept and filling those roles that are some times harder to find.....truth is though that everyone has got a price, and if the right offer comes along for either Balkman or Lee...there as good as gone.
