I understand that Mark Jackson could be a good coach some day but the Phoenix Suns do not need a some day coach they need a today coach. This is a team built for the now. Even the two coaches in the league that are former players cut of the same silk as Mark Jackson; Doc Rivers and Byron Scott both have had a few years to ply the trade. I am not saying that Jackson should not get an oppurtunity just do not think that the Suns are the team to open that door for him. A veteran team with a veteran coach that could mentally win a championship against the likes of Jackson, Popovich, whoever happens to be coaching the Pistons, Sloan, and the other goliath coaches in the league.
