It would make the Sox offense much more powerful. A .390 hitter in front of Papi, Ramirez, and even Drew. Move Youkilis back to the leadoff where he excelled last year, I guess Helton could bat 2nd. Where does Lugo go? Papelbon is not going to the roation. Why fix something thats not broken? He said he was born to close.

Papelbon is not going to the starting rotation. Pap said that he was born to be a closer and he thinks he can be one of the best ever. Why fix something thats not broken. The Sox bullpen is solid. Cordero wouldn't hurt but I'm not willing to give up much for him

he is getting older and the window is closing, but won't be shut until a couple of years. He has the talent around him to do it this year. I dont know about winning it, b/c it appears the Patriots might have bought another ring, but we have the pieces to get there

you guys seem to forget the 2004 season when he was the first quarterback to throw for 30+ touchdowns and less than 10 int. PLus, he led them to the super bowl. Yes he is injury prone, but your wrong to question his talent. He is also a team leader.

Has he ever been welcome in Philly? No. Do we need him? Probably not. Will someone overpay for him? Most likely. He was a good player in his prime, unfortunately that was a few years ago.

First round draft picks from GB, BUFFALO, or TENNESSEE? All of those teams are likely not in the playoffs this year. We are talking a 10th to around a 20th spot in the draft for the BACKUP running back. Yeah, hes a great player, but we only see him situationally. I am not ruling out the fact that he can be a number one back, certainly the talent is there, but to me that sounds like a pretty good deal, not to mention they [Chargers] are set with LT.

BoSox will need a 3rd baseman at the end of the season as Mike Lowell becomes a free agent. It is very hard to say the Sox will not make a bid, and if they want him badly enough, they have the resources to put enough money on the table. But...Does he want to go to Boston after how he has been treated? Red Sox Nation would certainly not mind his bat but we do seem to have a bit of a grudge. Will he be wanted back in NY? Joe Buck said it right on Saturday during the game, "it doesn't matter if he hits 80 home runs this season, if he goes 1-14 again in the postseason it wont be a sucess."
