Posted Sunday February 09, 2014, About: Report: Suns have serious interest in Rudy Gay
Bad idea. Gay can put up points, but he requires so many shots to do it that he's ultimately unproductive.
Posted Monday October 07, 2013, About: Cavs don't expect much from Andrew Bynum early
They'll be lucky if they get 30 games out of him.
Posted Wednesday September 18, 2013, About: Bynum nowhere near ready
The Cavs will be lucky if this mook suits up for even 30 games.
Posted Thursday September 05, 2013, About: Bynum says he's on schedule
I'm sure he's on schedule... he'll play 20-30 games, then take his annual vacation, per his usual schedule.
Posted Monday August 26, 2013, About: Andrew Bynum working hard, but not close to being ready
He'll play no more than 30 games.
Posted Tuesday August 06, 2013, About: LeBron says he's getting tired of the spotlight
Am I supposed to feel sorry for him? I don't doubt that the spotlight comes with pressure, but... I don't care. Yeah, LBJ can't just go for a quiet morning jog. But he also will never, ever have to worry about whether his kids have enough to eat or whether their school is safe enough. He'll never have to worry about his company downsizing and getting laid off. Cry me a friggin' river.
Posted Monday July 29, 2013, About: Report: Lakers leery of Lamar Odom
Lamar Kardashian is old and fat now. No value to a Lakers team that needs impact players immediately.
Posted Tuesday June 11, 2013, About: NBA teams to sell ads on courts, atop backboards
Welcome to the 2013 Taco Bell NBA Finals on ABC, brought to you by Disney! Enjoy today's game between the San Antonio Right Guard Deodorant and the Miami Kia Motors!
Posted Thursday June 06, 2013, About: Shane Battier makes a funny metaphor
That's great, Shane. That's great - you eat poop. Keep on eating that and flashing your poop-eating grin. Go ahead.
Posted Thursday June 06, 2013, About: LeBron fueled by revenge
Yawn. Let the teams play. There is no need to build up some melodramatic "story" for the pregame show.
Posted Tuesday May 28, 2013, About: Parker says restaurant denial never happened
Parker is fibbing. That restaurant is always booked weeks in advance, and they really did turn him away so as not to cancel another guest's reservation.
Posted Friday May 17, 2013, About: NCAA star refuses to give Spurs his phone number
Yeah... go ahead and play hardball, kid. Let's see how well that works out for you.
Posted Monday May 13, 2013, About: Rose considered comeback
I've lost a lot of respect for Derrick Rose. He has shown that he has so much less heart than his teammates, who are busting their butts trying to challenge a healthier, deeper, champtionship-winning opponent. Rose has been cleared to play for MONTHS now. And when his teammates needed him most, he refused to help them.
Rose is a punk. I've lost a lot of respect for him. He's been cleared to play for MONTHS, but refuses to work. He's living the high life, collecting millions of free dollars while sitting on his butt.

Sitting on his butt, getting richer and refusing to work while his teammates who actually have HEART are out there fighting hard against a healthier, deeper team. Rose needs to get his butt on the court or just file for retirement now. Play or get lost.
Posted Monday May 06, 2013, About: Magic Johnson wants LeBron to get more TV exposure
Why isn't he in more commercials? Because the egomaniacal, self-serving "Decision" TV special ruined a lot of goodwill that he had. People respect his talent, but that doesn't meant they like him personally.
Posted Monday May 06, 2013, About: The LeBron MVP witch hunt
Who cares? Where the rule that says everyone has to be on their knees for LeBron?
Posted Friday April 26, 2013, About: LeBron irked by DPOY snub
Shorter LeBron: "Whaaaaaah! Why don't I get everything! I'm entitled! Whaaaaah!"
Posted Thursday March 28, 2013, About: LeBron sounds off on opponents' rough play
Shorter LeBron: "Whaaaaah! Whaaaaaaaaaah!"
Posted Wednesday March 27, 2013, About: White won't play in D-League playoffs
I can't tell whether to feel bad for this guy or not, because I can't tell if *he* realizes what's actually going on - that as soon as they're no longer legally required to pay him money, he will never play professional basketball again. That seems like such a waste of talent. It seems like the Rockets *want* to work with him, but he's not really willing to work with them.
Posted Friday March 22, 2013, About: Rockets in the dark, mum after White bolts D-League
I feel that mental health should be treated by teams the same way as they'd deal with physical health issues. But what Royce White doesn't seem to understand is that teams have expectations for certain levels of performance, and not all health issues can be accommodated for the needs of the profession.

To be a professional athlete requires superior health conditioning in all regards. *Most* people don't qualify for that level of competition. It sucks for Royce that he's so close... but no. This just isn't the profession for him. It sucks, but not everyone gets their dream job.
Posted Thursday March 07, 2013, About: Gay still irked by Grizzlies' treatment
Gay had five seasons to prove his worth. Meanwhile, the Grizz are 11-4 since the trade. Is there any realistic probability that they'd be much better than that with his bloated contract?
