Ugh... look, I am sure that working for Donald Sterling for 22 years was a pretty miserable experience. But coming from a guy who failed to field a playoff team in all but 2 or 3 of those years this lawsuit smacks of opportunism. It also feels WAY too late. It's not as if Mr. Baylor could not have taken a stand earlier. He is an NBA Hall Of Famer and could probably have landed another job with a different franchise had he blown the whistle before his career of management futility came to define him. As for the salaries... if I am employing one of the worst general managers in pro sports, he had better just be glad to still have his 6 figure job. You pay the coach better because, obviously, you expect more out of him. You expect him to win. I have no idea what Sterling actually expected Baylor to do during this 22 year period. But if it included getting to the playoffs, then Sterling was sickeningly gracious to Baylor in that he did not fire him say, 2 decades ago. Obviously, Sterling wanted Baylor to work out as a GM. But Baylor was not really even justifying his earning $300+k/year, much less $millions.
As for the allegations of said incindiary remarks? First of all, who knows what you can believe. Baylor waited 2 decades to make any noise about it. And to do so after being justifiably fired, and attached to a (likely) multi-million dollar law suit cannot help but make you question the motivations behind his accusations. I have no problem believing that Sterling made a few ridiculous remarks during the time Baylor was there, but so far Baylors accusations and their implications feel like a lot of "he said, she said" heresay that do not seem to justify a lawsuit.

Total BS from a media outlet that specializes in BS. The Trail Blazers are the LAST team Curry would fit in with. Kevin Prichard has stated publicly that the Trail Blazers are not intersted in roster changes right now unless they are steals (something Eddie Curry knows nothing about... like rebounding or shot blocking), and his goal now is to let this team develop and build chemistry. The Blazers have LaMarcus Aldridge, Greg Oden, and Joel Pryzbilla- each of whom has more skill and potential than Curry... this is about the stupidest trade rumor I've heard all season.
