"stop telling me how to win games, avery! i'm a star in deutschland!" - d nowitzki
"yeah, don't tell me to stop smoking weed and partying so that i can prep for the playoffs...you're not my daddy!" - j.howard
no discipline = no championships
as for myself, i'll be taking all of the Laker guff on this side of the coast, CEL.
took you long enough to get your head out of your 4ss! burn out fever just like the others who flock to a powerhouse team in their twilight because they spent too many years being money and ball hungry jerks.
pargo would be more promising than vaughan...eventhough, i do like JV.
isn't that what a franchise player does?
face it, you aren't the best player who ever lived and never will be...suck it up and accept that you're atleast showing more than #2, Mili??i??.
get over lebron and get your s*it straight and be a team player.
it's more of an observation about jumping on the powerful-vet-fueled-bandwagon celtics and not much about anyone's ring count.
and yes...i know a thing or 2 about a thing or 3...yup, i sure do.
i'd like horry to stay in SA for vet min, though. i don't see him playing more than 8mins a game anymore.
step up and make the clippers a great team, you big dummy!
only good-old players in demand can go to winning teams...posey.
yes, the spurs do have a lot of vets and they happen to be 35+ yrs...but so what?
want a fast young team that can put up #'s ? take your pick: suns, nugs, magic, raptors, 6ers, ckippers...your team. etc. wow, look at them...they're the ones that need aged vets for guidance to all of their young dumb money hungry talent.
however, i've always thought maggette would be a great fit...some few years ago. perhaps now he's realized that money isn't everything in the nba when it comes to respect and knows that his involvement with the spurs could be "ringfully" beneficial.
on that note...we don't need "younger" peeps...just non-egotistical and atheltic players that want to be team players who can understand their role. GSG!

spurs didn't hire old guys...they grew older because of their commitment to staying with and helping their team.
in this case, boston is looking for desperate burnouts that never had a ring because they were too money hungry in their younger years. so when they realize that they have an op. to win one...they become hungry to finish with a ring. just like alonzo, karl malone, g payton, pj brown...and the big 3 on the celtics.
