Who writes this crappola? High school creative writing class? Cashner has 19 career wins. Whoop-de-do.
Posted Wednesday April 16, 2014, About: In St. Louis, 'the cavalry is coming'
Two weeks ago St. Louis looked like a lock for the division title. Having to face Chicago instead of Minnesota has to be a let-down. I like Chicago's chances in this series. Go Blackhawks!

I fully agree. He has lots of potential, but I don't think he's ready for the NBA yet. He was really inconsistent this season.
Posted Saturday September 28, 2013, About: Calvin Johnson 'can't stand' Bears
Well the NFL has been around longer than the Super Bowl, and including the Bears eight NFL championships before there was a Super Bowl, that gives them nine league championships. Just sayin'...

Wuss? Torres takes a flying leap at Hossa's head from behind, if I recall. How's that make him a wuss?
Posted Tuesday June 11, 2013, About: Chicago Blackhawks open as 9/1 favorites in Stanley Cup
I agree. I just think it's idiotic to say "all it takes is some physical hockey to shut down the Chicago offense." The Kings out-hit the Blackhawks in every game, a total of 219 to 159 in the series, yet the 'Hawks won in 5. Obviously I think Chicago will take the Cup, but it won't be easy. It should be fun to watch, though.

Simple..."all it takes is some physical hockey to shut down the Chicago offense." So why are they still playing?
Posted Saturday April 13, 2013, About: Remy Abell to transfer from Indiana
Agreed. Or are the incoming freshman so good that he still didn't think he would be playing?

Spartans didn't do any better. How about an Ohio State/Michigan final?
Posted Tuesday October 02, 2012, About: Did Cutler blow off Mike Tice?
Well said, up until the part about being mean to small children. The media and most of the public are concerned with image. It doesn't matter what you are really like as long as you project the image that people want. Cutler couldn't care less about how he is perceived. People may not like him, and think or say all kinds of baseless nasty things about him, but you know what? He doesn't care. Personally, I prefer that attitude to the phony, suck-up attitude displayed by most athletes.

Yeah, too bad Romo didn't have any negatives to talk about instead.
Posted Friday September 14, 2012, About: Cameras catch Cutler berating lineman
And he's the first qb to do that? Yeah, he had a bad game, the whole team did though. If Cutler throws 4 picks every game, then I'll get worried.

I am just amazed at how most of the media and many of the fans rag on Cutler no matter what he does. I don't get it. If he has a good game, it was because of an inferior defense. If he has a bad game, it was his fault. If he says nothing, he's disinterested and doesn't care. If he chews out an o-lineman, he's an arrogant jerk. Well I'm glad he's the Bears qb. The Bears as a team laid an egg last night, but it's just one game.
Posted Wednesday October 20, 2010, About: Did Cubs GM turn his back on Sandberg?
This makes some sense, but there's no guarantee that the Cubs will offer Sandberg the job in two years. Suppose he waits and they snub him again? Sandberg did everything he was asked to do, and when the Cubs had the chance to give him the job, they didn't. If Ryne really wants to manage in the major leagues, he'd be smart to look elsewhere. I sure wouldn't trust the Cubs if I were him.
