Ignore the haters. Next week the fun begins, so sit back, have a cold beer, and watch what should be the start of an exciting season for the Eagles when they open vs. the Panthers.
Can't wait to see this offense when all the kinks have been ironed out. So much talent at skill positions...if there is any doubt about the defense with injuries, and loss of J.J., and Dawk in Denver...we may try N.E.'s approach in 07. Just outscore everybody and try to get to, and win the big dance this time.
McNabb, Vick, Westbrook, McCoy, Weaver, Jackson, Maclin, Curtis, Avant, Celek, Baskett...plus the revamped O-line which will sort itself out a few games into the season.
Can't wait!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Besides all these posts being funny, the bold caption up top says "TRUTH&RUMORS" also a ?
Everyone of you took the bait and ran with it. LOL.
Vick isn't even eligible to play until week 6, unless commish changes his mind.
I'm sure the #1 selling Vick jersey's flying off the racks might give old Roger an itchy trigger finger.
That being said, when the roster cuts are made, and the dust settles...we'll know.
As much as I hate to say it, (from a football standpoint) Vick makes this team better no matter how you slice it. The jury is still out on Kolb. I haven't seen enough of him for an extended period to make a fair evaluation...but what little I have seen, leaves much to be desired.
A.J. is like a flash in the pan, sometimes he plays well, but for the most part, he is an INT machine.
Which brings me to the harsh reality that, all of you Eagle haters can't stand the thought of the Eagles, McNabb and his new toys beating up on the NFC all year. Even though they lost Bradley which I'll admit was a key loss, and TE Ingram who no doubt would have beat LB's all day long, they are still better than most teams in the NFC. Losing J.J. is bad, and time will tell about his understudy.
LOL...yeah you guys are right...what were the Eagles thinking?

Jerry Jones is just as crazy as Al Davis now...good luck filling up a 100,000 seat stadium in a deep recession. He cant even get a company to name the stadium...and he lost 9 mill letting go of T.O. and dont have a 1st rd pick this year...good luck winning 6 games this year, next year too!

Tono **** cant even win a playoff game so you better hope they trade him for Cutler!

You guys are a bunch of crybabies...you all sound like little schoolgirls, really. I've been an Eagles fan for a long time and this organization is one of the top 5 in the league. It is really sad to hear this among my fellow fans. Every now and then there is a changing of the guard, a youth movement, Dawk is beloved and he moved on to greener pastures,$$$$Good for him and his family. We were blessed to have had a hall of famer for so long. Spoiled actually! It's not the first or last time those things are going to happen, with any team. Remember Montana, Rice, Emmitt, Favre? Get over it already. He'll still retire an Eagle. Did you ever wonder what it must be like to be a Lions fan?
Yeah we still dont have a championship yet, but you gotta live in the now. They are trying...Its not easy to just go win a superbowl. A lot of things have to factor into the equation. Strength of schedule, draft order(which we are usually near the bottom every year), division(best in football), injuries, free agency, good coaching, and a little luck. We have been on quite a run this last decade and the team is still strong now, and on paper is still srtong enough to make more runs. The stars just have not aligned. It could be worse...and as it stands, the team is $40 mill under the cap, have 12 draft picks(2 in the 1st), and Lurie is a billionaire(which could help retain talent, with this wonderful economy we now have). Elway didnt get his rings till the end of his career, stay positive...S#@!T, are you gonna jump back on the wagon if they make the superbowl this year? This draft could help fortify future playoff runs and maybe a ring or two. Remember, it could be worse.

ocho should go to philly in exchange for lito sheppard and a draft pick.
he would tear it up with Curtis in the slot like welker in N.E., plus westbrook doing his thing and a healthy #5 and L.J. The east would be ballin and the best division in football like it has always been.
