Posted Wednesday June 11, 2008, About: Was Lakers-Kings playoff game fixed?
I believe he is telling the truth!! Along with the Lakers and Kings Series, the NBA needs to investigate the Lakers and Portland Western Conference Finals Series from 2000. The no calls and fouls called against Portland in the final three minutes of that game made me think the NBA was fixed.
Posted Monday June 09, 2008, About: Colts rookie: NFL isn't so tough
I believe that his comment was not meant to say that the NFL "Easy" but that he expected the minicamps to be more intense than they are. He has yet to expeirence an NFL Traning Camp so I believe that his stance will change big time when training camp starts. I do not believe that he will be a good NFL player and I hope watches what he says from now on. One would think coming from a program the size of Michigan's that he would know how to address the media without saying something that may get twisted to say something that he didnt mean to say. He needs to concentrate on not getting cut and having an NFL career not his perception of how tough he thinks the practices are.
Posted Monday June 09, 2008, About: Only one Piston is untouchable
If Dumars would have taken Carmelo Anthony at #2 in the 2003 Draft, he would'nt be in this situation that he is in now. The Pistons have a bunch of really good basketball players, but no one superstar. Yes it worked in 2004, but at that time they had 5 really good basketball players instead of the 4 really good basketball players they have now. Dumars should take more credit for not drafting Carmelo Anthony. The Pistons would have at least won the Finals in 2005 and Probably had one maybe even two more legitimate shots at titles the past 4 years had they had Melo on the team. Also, Melo would be more mature and a better basketball player playing around the likes of Billups, Hamilton, Prince, R. Wallace, and B. Wallace from his rookie season until now. The 2003 Draft should be looked upon as a key factor in making the Eastern Conference Finals every year for the past 6 years and only 2 finals apperances. The players and coaches should be held accountable as well, but Joe Dumars please don't forget your screw up in the 2003 Draft.
Posted Tuesday March 25, 2008, About: Johnson skips Bengals workout
It's time for the Bengals and Chad Johnson to part ways. What does this say about the Bengals as an organization, both Chad and TJ are not happy, they have not had a good offseason as far as upgrading their defense and team officals do not seem worried. The Bengals seemed to be on their way to being considered as one of the Top Teams in the NFL, now they are close to not even being considered a top team in the AFC North. If the Bengals fail on draft day there may be serious trouble in Cincy.
Posted Tuesday March 25, 2008, About: Pacman to meet Playmaker in Dallas
I believe that playing for the Cowboys is the best situation for Pacman. The Cowboys have a lot of veteran players who will not take any of his crap. Hopefully a year away from football and a change of scenery will help Pacman not only learn that it is an honor to play professional football, but to learn that in life you have to play by the rules.
Posted Monday March 24, 2008, About: Browns may extend brain trust
Here we go Brownies, Here we Go!!! Heck of a job Phil Savage, but we all know if Romeo does not make the playoffs next year he will be on the hot seat.
Posted Friday March 21, 2008, About: Cowboys, Titans discuss Pacman deal
If Pacman goes to Dallas hopefully he can stay out of the strip clubs.
Posted Friday March 21, 2008, About: Houshmandzadeh upset, too
I feel bad for the Bengals, it has been a disastrous off-season. They lost out on Shaun Rogers due to some language issues in the trade, they havent really upgraded their defense, now their two all-pro wideouts are very unhappy. The Bengals are going to have some serious problems if they trade Ocho Cinco. Not only is their defense not improved this offseason, now their great offense could possibly be going down hill. I smell trouble in Cincy.
Posted Friday March 21, 2008, About: Knicks to make run at LeBron
The Media and the NBA want to see Lebron in New York, they will keep coming up with theroies until 2010. I also believe that athletes are given too much, but it will continue until the fans decide not to be 100 dollars for a seat at a game.
Posted Friday March 21, 2008, About: Buckeyes have Pryor concerns
Hopefully the Buckeyes can keep him grounded, I would hate to see another Maurice Clarret situation.
