ok lets asses.. knicks dont get AI they might finish with the worst record and a chance to nab Wall. knicks get Iverson he gets to run the team which is what he wants. but he wont make anyone on the knicks better but he will score alot in the up tempo system. also people will come watch because he is a big name. then they can dump his sorry ass next year when they have space to sign the leftovers after lebron bosh n wade... cos they wont be going to new york!
the knicks might win a few more games with AI vs bad defensive sides but do they really want to? there history with mid lottery picks is terrible but with number 1 or 2 they surely cant mess up can they?
pass on jennings, lawson and others for hill? stupidity
pass on lopez for gallinari? suicidal stuff..
if they picked say jennings and lopez that is 2 very good talents and the 2 most important spots. if they had of done that they would have had more of a chance to sign a massive talent next season plus they would have still sucked considering these 2 are still developing... jennings lopez and say mid lottery this year plus cap space equals bright future...
gallinari hill high pick plus no appeal to star player equals they are still **** for a long time coming!

hahaha very humourous reading all the comments! i hate Bush (biggest dictator of all time) and Lebron (check my stats at half time and full time 1st then check if we won) James. But Bush my god! the comments that grabbed my attention most were the ones saying he kept the U.S safe post 9/11? Wouldnt fighting a war on terror involve fighting the Country responsible instead of invading a country rich in oil? Did most people miss this or were they to court up? I apologise if im mistaken but i swear Bin Laden is Afgan? Or were the government just planning to stop over in Iraq and decided it was the place to be!? Cant find Bin Laden mayby stop looking for oil and start looking in the right country and you may have a better chance!

i love all you loser laker haters out there! finding every way possible to degrade the lakers and never ever give them credit even though they are about to win a championship.
hows about get over the Gasol trade it isnt the lakers fault that Memphis are so very tight that they hate even paying a player of Gasols capabilities! I can gaurantee you that watever side you follow if they made a deal like this you would praise your GM and would accept in the blink of the eye!
I also remember everyone doubting if Gasol would improve the Lakers and saying that he isnt that good anyway! so if you think this instead of contradicting yourselves accept that the best player in the game successfully made Gasol a better player.
Yet again i gaurantee you dont say no to a trade like this if your team is in a position to make it happen! Another thing is Gasol would never have been the #1 guy on a championship side so you could look outside the square instead of having such a simple minded view and think that mayby Memphis wanted to create a different identity... which they are doing now with nice building blokes in Gay Mayo Gasol the #2 pick and a bucket load of cap room in the near future... could turn out to have been a masterstroke!

Sac gets Rubio and Rubio is happy which he wouldnt be in Mem
Mem gets a developing big man in Thompson or Hawes and pick #4 mayby Derozan or another gaurd. 2 young developing players is better than 1

artest... would want to be the man... damaging westrook and durants development.
boozer... could fit but would want huge contract! not worth the risk
gordon... could work yet again not worth the risk plus durant needs shots

miller... probably a good fit considering he doesnt need many shots! but westbrook has to much potential to play as a back up.. let westbrook run the point

i think im with jbg they should take thabeet if he is available. allthough they need to dangle a big fish in front of clips to try to move up griffen durant and westbrook could become anything! i would love to watch these 3 play together! but if they cant move up mayby another good option would be the rights to thabeet to the knicks for the rights to curry and chandler. chandler would be another good young piece plus it could be a exciting backcourt with westbrook and curry!

best moves for grizz... unless they fluke it and get pick #1. draft thabeet if hes available.... pick 27 draft patty mills from aus! kid has serious speed and he performed exceptionally against usa in the olympics! pick up boozer, odom or another experienced player in free agency... plus with barely any teams with enough cap to sign free agents they could sign another decent free agent to the MLE or if they have any left over from boozer or odom or someone. They wont be instant contenders of course but with gay mayo conley gasol and arthur getting better with experience plus free agent pic up and good drafting and this team could develop into a contender in a few years... i doubt it but mayby.

they would need mayo or gay to take the next step plus they would need to get lucky in the draft... thabeet and mills could be very good

butler would be a great player for the nets to land. if they could shed carter and land butler they would be in a great position for 2010.
harris butler yi lopez anderson boone douglas roberts... these are good pieces and would be appealing to a good free agent or 2 in 2010 mayby not the big 3 but still a very good player... nets are a few good moves away from becoming a pretty good side.

jbg why wouldnt phx amare and shaq do not work together! beasley has massive upside anyone with a eye for talent can see this. someone was saying something about lopez been the filler. if im the heat i dont do this deal but if the suns throw in lopez i mayby consider it! that bloke that said the chandler deal is better is dead right. there is a 'd' in chanDler none in amare. mayby one in his surname but noone calls him by that.

just so you people no the nets are not doing this to win games! they get a huge contract thats of the books in 2010.. they are in a better position for 2010 than the knicks if they can trade carter for expiring contracts...
the reason i say this is because they will have solid pieces to go around a superstar if they can land one in 2010. harris yi lopez boone douglas roberts. plus a few picks.
a young core of supporting players for a superstar to slot in with. allthough the one thing they dont have that the knicks do is the pulling power of the biggest market in the nba.
