i dont know were the info for these articles comes from, but the Yanks offered a HUGE contract to Posada in the begining of the year. Posada said that he wanted to ensure the Yanks thier moneys worth and that they should wait till the end of the year to assure his health. Therefor, as long as he remains healthy, he will be a Yankee.
Riverera on the other hand, has been a great performer to the Yankees ball club and was one of the most respected closers. But truthfuly...he is getting older and wering down his arm. He is a questionable future Yankee.
