What do you want then to do? Play the Pistons "Bad Boy" defense and grind the clock out. Thats the other problem is that they dont have ANYONE that CAN play shutdown defense let alone have 5 guys that can.

Hmmm. Thats strange you say Gil is the problem. He didnt play really at all last year and the year before and they were super garbage. So that pretty much blows that theory out the window. When he was healthy I do recall them going to the playoffs like 2 or 3 years in a row.

How about someone call out the constant under achieving of Haywood? I mean he has been in the league almost 10 years now. He hasnt ever averaged over 7 rbs a game and has averaged 10 points once.

I dont think they will even come close to making the playoffs this year. I mean other than Cp3 they have no one to create their own shot or more importantly any depth. They have a bunch oif 10th men trying to be fourth and fifth men.

houston or OKC

Also House wanted a commitment after the 2009-10 seasons which he got in his other contract which NY wasnt willing to go for. And he signed with the C's bc they were a better team in the summer of 07 than the Knicks.

Why would he want to go to a losing situation when he could go to a winning one?


And the BIGGEST reason of all NOT to blame Walsh or DA was bc they werent even there in 2007!!!! They didnt get their until 2008.

How come you And1 kids cant understand that just bc you can put points up doesnt make you great. He carried his team ONCE in his career (and id debate the defense and weak east helped that year) and yall make it out to be like he is winning 50 games every year and getting to the second or third round of the playoffs. All he was is Jerry Stackhouse who got to shoot a ton bc they were on bad teams.

If LBJ is going to tie his hopes of winning a championship with a 35 year old Iverson for the next few year then maybe he shouldnt play basketball then or just sign with the CLippers for league minimum and ride the pine.

Maybe DA and Walsh made an impression on him that if you arent in shape you arent going to play. Instead of being like the list of coaches before him that just let him get in that shape and keep playing him no matter what. Hopefully he has learned what it takes to be a professional but if not then oh well.

I dont know if he is the answer but if he can play himself back into the startying rotation and that would help out everyone. Moving Lee back to his PF position and then they can go with a much more traditional lineup and a bigger lineup.

Also I've noticed all these knick "fans" always keep crying about how they dont play any D at all and now most of them want them to sign AI who hasnt played D in about 8 years. Hmm. Just strange to me.
