They are the best winless team. Didn't say they were great, that's why they're 0-5. Steelers will probably win the North, but they're not much better off than Cincy right now. Too many injuries and too tough a schedule.

Obviously, whatever school you attended (I'm assuming in CA) didn't offer math nor history courses. Get your facts straight. I didn't see USC in the past 2 BCS NC games, so either put up or shut up. You don't follow football, do you? This is a Mike Brown decision - he doesn't care about looking foolish. You'll be saying "nice job" when Slim smokes your secondary in week 6. And why would you trade away Vilma and then acquire Jenkins for a 3-4? He plays a solid 3 technique, but he's no NT. Bad moves...

We actually beat you last October.. and then finished with a record 3 games better than yours. I don't care if you didn't have Favre then, you have no room to brag about your J-E-T-S. They will underachieve this year. As for the Bengals, I'm pretty confident we'll be just fine.

I was going to stay out of it until ths gem of a comment. Since 2000, the Steelers are 12-4 against your mighty Bungles including 1-0 in the playoffs. Everyone has bal*s as big as a house in the preseason, but when it really matters, My team will whomp on yours once again.

It's too bad you didn't. We were a better team in '05 and in '06, as we proved. You were better in '07, as you swept us. I'm not worried about anything before then (the Dark Ages of the '90s, etc.). You have a good running game, I'll give you that. But, let's compare your "mighty" Pitts. squad vs. the '08 Bengals.
1. QB - Bengals
2. Wideouts - Bengals
3. O-Line-Bengals
4. RB's - Stoolers
5. Secondary - Bengals
6. LB - Stoolers
7. DL - tie (I say this as Hampton is currently on the PUP list for being overweight and you have 2 30+ starters at DE).

Talent - wise, the Bengals are probably better. That's why I say, with a properly-executed gameplan (esp. on D) and no injuries, we can knock off Pitts. in the AFC North. Sorry, bro, but when it's broken down, we're just better.

You mentioned it earlier in your post.. When you have talent, you're a contender... that's how it works. If we can survive a rash of injuries and execute a good gameplan, your Stoolers will be knocked off fairly easily.

Dratcliff - that is the ugliest picture I've ever seen. As a Bengals fan myself (thru good and bad, mind you), I've seen only informational posts from PW. In his defense, he knows what he's takling about (or she, to be PC).

LSU: Why do you come on here and comment on a story about TP's throwing motion? Do you really have nothing else to do but try to pick an online fight with Ohio State fans, day in and day out?

If you're going to insult OSU, please don't try to insult the conference. Yes, the SEC is good right now. Just like the Big 10 was from 96-03. Things happen in cycles, so enjoy your conference being near the top right now. Too bad LSU doesn't have a chance to play in the NC game next year... OSU certainly does, that's why we're #2. My first reaction would be to come to the defense of this signing, as this guy has immense talent. However, it's difficult to totally agree with Brown's decision here (obviously, this is Mike Brown's decision..). I'm still excited for the season, as we have many other weapons in place. We're in a strong division and have a tough NCO schedule, but we also have a great Offense and an up-and-coming D. We'll see Sept. 7th...
