No one has mentioned that Sarkesian called all those conservative games, preventing Sanchez from utilizing his full capabilities, because opposing coaches could stack up for the conservative calls. Later on, the calls opened up, allowing Sanchez to be fully utilized. The Stanford loss was a fluke -- equal blame to JD Booty for insisting on staying in, and to Carroll to allow him to throw 4 interceptions in the second half (both after knowing the halftime x-rays showed a broken middle throwing finger). The Oregon State game this past season was due to the previously-unnknown small 'Quiz Rogers (PAC-10 offensive player of the year) who ran behind the big linemen and got tackled high (causing many penalties against the USC defenders), until the defense got straightened around.
It was really the worst thing that Carroll could have done, belittling Sanchez at Mark's party, and in Mark's spotlight. Extremely poor taste and a bad example to all of the other USC players. But, the team will be outstanding again next year, with an awesome Offence, and the Defense will miss nary a beat!
Mark will be an exceptionally good NFL player (after the 38-0 USC win over Notre Dame, Joe Theismann told Sanchez, "You were a great Quarterback!"). FIGHT ON !!!!!

Those recruits missed a real practice at SC, Maybe they'll go to the SC Trojan Huddle game Saturday at the Coliseum and see some real college players.
