It'd be kind of funny if someone else moved them to Hamilton, then what would Balsille do?
Posted Thursday May 29, 2008, About: Blues fighting Leafs for Armstrong
Looks like the Blues "won".
Posted Tuesday May 27, 2008, About: NHL out to get Holmstrom?
I only asked about the bet 'cause I'd been gone for about a week and didn't expect to see you still using it. I didn't know the details and assumed it would only be a day or two, maybe until the finals started. Would bostongm have to use the winged wheel if the series went 5?
Posted Tuesday May 27, 2008, About: Noah busted on pot charge
It says one joint but it also says 20 grams, so either that was one hell of joint, or where was the rest of it?
Posted Tuesday May 27, 2008, About: NHL out to get Holmstrom?
That's exactly what it is PopKing.

And goCan, to be fair the Flyers were down 0-3 while the Wings are up 2-0. If they were down you'd likely see some come out of the woodwork to complain. Still probably not as much as the Flyers though, I'll give you that. By the way, when you gonna change that pic? I don't know what the bet was but do you have to keep that logo the whole finals?
Posted Monday May 26, 2008, About: Octopi still fly after NHL warning
Why not sell rubber/fake octopus at the Joe? No gunk in fake ones.
Posted Wednesday May 21, 2008, About: Pandolfo in no hurry with Devils
As well as Scott "semi-retired" Niedermayer.
Posted Wednesday May 21, 2008, About: Canseco fighting for cash
He should join the UFC, he's got a couple black belts doesn't he?
Posted Wednesday May 21, 2008, About: Changes for Flyers defense
Wait a second, add a marquee player? What about trying to find the money to keep Carter?

Smith can go back to Edmonton and Parent can fill one spot. Hatcher would have to be a buyout, no? Is it worth it to buy him out and pay a replacement with the little bit you save? Would the replacement be any better?
Posted Wednesday May 21, 2008, About: How Stars two-headed GM works
How it worked is like this:

Things went well, after a slow start that lowered expections which made them "overachieve" (in a way), and they made a big trade for Richards while Turco had his most successful playoffs. I don't have much faith it will work out long term, especially once they hit long term adversity.
Posted Tuesday May 20, 2008, About: Nets active in talking trade
"Basketball purists unite, apparently. LETS GO LAKERS. LETS GO CELTICS. "

Aren't the purists already rooting happy, four teams left that all play a team game. Albeit Spurs and Pistons been together longer and do a better job of it, the other two aren't that far behind at times, but with a bit more individual talent.

Anyways, I loved the 2004 and 2005 finals, it's great ball if you've got the attention span and understanding.
Posted Tuesday May 20, 2008, About: Phoenix to interview Corbin
Can't go wrong working under Sloan and only one of them can replace him, time for th other to get his shot running the whole gig somewhere else.
Posted Tuesday May 20, 2008, About: More NBA dirt from Donaghy
And so it begins... well continues. Stern can only sweep so much under the the rug.
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: Flyers GM won't 'lose' Carter
As a buyout Hatcher would save them some money, but Smith, Prospal, Dowd or any other Free Agents aren't being counted in that $49 million already committed.
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: Last-place Tigers have issues
Weird, still early, but time to start expecting improvement.
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: NBA considers draft revisions
Expand the NBA-D league and make it a real minor league system, why force them to go to college for one year?

Killing the lottery would create the race to beat the 76ers record for most losses.
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: Grizzlies face draft dilemma
Right, it's all moot until the lottery anyways.
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: Simon signs with Russian team
Oh no, they're going to steal our thugs away!
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: Flyers GM won't 'lose' Carter
Better start making some trades, if they match now at a $5M they'd pretty much be at the expected cap ceiling next year.
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: Selanne retires from international play
Waiting to find out Scott's decision?
Posted Monday May 19, 2008, About: Why Gaborik may bolt from Wild
Next year's Hossa? If Boston loses out on Hossa maybe they can use Chara to lure Gaborik.
