Steve Nash plays basketball with his team since basketball is a team sport that makes Steve the better basketball player. AI would be better then Steve at a game of 33 where it's every man for themself.

Ai worked so well with Carmello...why wouldn't Lebron want to come play with him??

He just quit on Memphis, because he couldn't start. I guess that's your defination of 100%. He goes 100% for himself, and the way he wants to play the game. People who know ish about basketball can clearly see the facts.

They are similar in that they put themselves ahead of the team. It has nothing to do with tatoos, every player in the league has tatoos, every doughy white boy working at Walmart has a tatoo ...who cares about tatoos! Your being prejudice for assuming we even know or care where they come from.
Both players are a pain in the arse and quit on their team when they don't get their way. That is how they are alike. If you can't see that you are delusional.

Exactly my point, they are both me first, narcissistic players.I do agree the AI would beat Marbury in a game of 1 on 1, but like Marbury he cares nothing for the team. If he did he'd still be in Memphis trying to help that team.

Actually the Knicks would help themselves by offering to help Miami get Iverson. Once Iverson gets there and screws things up, Wade will want to leave, and then NY would have a shot at him.

AI can hurt this team becasue he doesn't want to play with a team, he wants to play 1 on 5. Or has everyone forgotten how ridiculous things were when Marbury was pulling the same stunts?
He couldn't get what he wanted in Memphis (all the time and shots he wants) so he leaves and now he's looking for someone else who will let him have his way.
No TEAM that wants to be a team should ever pick this guy up.

Rose is commited to being the best basketball player he can be, and playing at the highest level possible. He wasn't at Memphis to go to school, he wouldn't have even have been their if it wasn't for the dumb age restricition rule. I'm sure everyone at Memphis knew that. There is plenty of blame to be spread around on this one. Rose should not have to carry all the guilt of the whole system.
Hopefully he will learn from this.

Exactly....Alot of us old guys who work on our computers, work out, and stay in shape to play ball for simply the love of the game. I'm 38, but I'm still taking it to the teenagers in the drive way after work. Eddie the "professional ball player" is in the prime of his life. I wish I could play ball for a living.

Don't put Kobe and AI in the same discussion, Kobe has won 4 rings, what does he have to do with this discussion. Nobody care what his style is, were talking about his ability to play 5 on 5 team basketball. It's not that he couldn' play team ball ...The bottom line is he proven that he doesn't want to. That is why no TEAM is to excited about taking him.
SO he shook MJ, big deal, last time I checked you don't get points for shaking anyone. Jordan won 6 titles, needs 2 hands to wear all his rings, the fact that Ai shook a time or two hardly means he's of the same caliber. What I will admit is AI is probably one of the best 1 on 1 players, he just never figured out how to play with a TEAM. Basketball is a team sport. Kobe figured that out and now he's got a 4 title.

I totally agree, every team should "just let AI be," seems to me Philly, Denver, and Detroit all "Let him go" and alot of other teams "are letting him be."
Your comment are the ones charged with animosity, the rest of us are just looking at the facts.
AI does not equal winning, the "organized" sports world can see that, but you go ahead and pick him up for your "organized" rec team.

That was 9 years ago, and everyone seems to forget that they had Muntumbo covering his backside. He got to play on a fast pace run and gun team in Denver and they sucked. He didn't compliment Mello he won't compliment Wade, all he does is jack up shots, he doesn't understand how to play the game as a team. If he came off the bench for someone he could wreck other teams second units, but he doesn't understand that either. He's me first always has been always will be.

The 12 best didn't want to go and work and play as a team. You have to have a team to compete. You can't claim to be the best when you lose at a team sport, the winning team is not the team that can jump the higest or dunk the prettiest, the winning team scores the most points. It doesn't matter who is the best player, 1 player does not make a team.
