Both Rolen and Hill the gold glove caliber defenders; while Ryan and Downs will immediately solve the Mets' bullpen problems. I admit, this is a big move for both teams, and both GMs will need to have guts to make the move. But the trade addresses the Jays' need for a big bat and a SS who can leadoff, while the Mets' gave up some production (yet didn't give up any defense) to get full bullpen upgrade to a point where it is lights out after 7 innings when you have a lead. Makes sense?
