When a team is on the skids little flareups like this just help release the pressure and divert some of the focus from bigger issues...happens all the time for every team. Just look at some of the hare-brained antics of Ozzie Guillen and I'll rest my case. Much ado about nothing.

Ozzie and his team will soon experience the agony of defeat (just like the Cubs). There are a pretty good number of Chicago fans who root for both teams, primarily one... but are "tolerant" of the other. Ozzie's brainless off-hand comments polarize these fans in Chicago. I don't think he does it out of spite or any grand plan (he's not intelligent enough for that). I just think he doesn't give a crap...and there's not enough room in his brain for rational thought because his bloated ego has swollen like a cancerous testicle.

I think John McCain has served his country honorably and possesses the character to be a president, but if I'm going to vote based on the cornerstone of military service, I would want to vote for a pilot who didn't get shot down.

Josh has a funny way of apologizing if that's what you want to call it. There's a difference between owning up to stupid behavior or just cutting to the chase and admitting you are stupid. I just think he's a young player who doesn't have all the tools to handle the spotlight of fame...and he's not alone in that regard. We'll see if the "apology" will lead to maturity...I hope so for his sake. He could really walk the talk if he volunteers to sing the national anthem at the Mavericks opening game. That would be something.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not defending TO. I just don't think his actions are as disruptive as you (and others) think they are. Romo and the coaches know TO spouts off because he wants to win...not because he's patently disrespectful of his team. I'm pretty sure TO respects Romo and will calm down...he's just a hothead who wants the game-breaking long bomb and is frustrated when he doesn't get it. No suprises there.

This is a pointless article. Early in the season, TO went on record and said he would not complain or question performance or play-calling if the Cowboys win, but he would if they lose. He appears to be sticking to that approach. His relationship is strong enough with Romo that a little pushback is probably a good thing and something that Romo is not suprised by and is capable of handling. Personally, I don't think TO should complain since he had something like 17 passes thrown his way.
