I reread my post and still havn't found my defense of Bush that you referenced or nor have I found me claiming that Obama's wife said she hated the US.

As to our policy decisions causing 9-11, our policy decisions also caused the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbor. Did that make Pearl Harbor our fault also?

So the al-Qaeda terrorists that attacked us on 9-11 say it is our fault they attacked us and you agree with them? Or am I misunderstanding you?

Jerry Falwell died almost a year ago. None of us can go listen to his sermons.

Falwell's comments on one of the Teletubbies came from an article that appeared in Salon magazine, not a conservative magazine but rather a self proclaimed left-liberal magazine head quartered in San Francisco, that stated the purple color and triangle used on one of the characters were references to gay pride.

Obama's wife said at one of her husband's rallies that for the first time in her life, she was proud of the United States. She's 44 years old and this year was the first time in her life she was proud of the United States?

Obama's pastor is a anti-semitic, white hating racist. His pastor claimed,among other things, the US created the HIV virus "as a means of genecide against people of color" and claimed the US brought the 9-11 attacks upon itself by its "own terrorism". If you listen to his sermons, you cannot deny his racism and have any credibility. Obama has attanded this man's church for 20 years so for him to claim that he never knew of his pastor's beliefs or heard him make racist remarks means Obama is monumentally stupid or a liar.

As far as Rooney endorsing him, that's Rooney's business. It really won't help Obama that much but will not win Rooney many friends amongst Steeler fans either.

Until this thread, I never knew if soulja boy was a song, dance or some stupid rapper's stage name. I'm one of those people not up on current rap culture either and I'm obviously not missing a thing.

The "Just following orders" defense did not work for those that had committed atrocities. It had nothing to do with those that simply served in the infantry. A man I taught with for years had been conscripted into the H. youth when he was 14. He was given the job of digging anti-tank ditches around Berlin as the Russians were approaching the city. One day he walked into his classroom and his students all shouted heil **tler and gave the n*** salute. He went into a tirade for 15 minutes and chewed the kids a new one then had to be sent to the hospital as his blood pressure went through the roof.

Folks, this is not the "media's" fault. They're doing their job by asking him questions. If reporters limited themselves to asking athletes really important questions, athletes would never be interviewed at all. The solution to this is simple. All Favre has to say is "Guys I'm retired and I will not play in the NFL again."
