I just dont think Ropers the man for the job. Against Purdue, with Johnson in the backfield, Roper had a Purdue defense that was consistently keying on Johnson and begging to be burned on an option keeper. He never took advantage of that...he had chance after chance to make them pay but didnt make the read and Purdue didnt respect the play. That wont happen with Harper and Masoli. I like Justin...I would love to see him succeed...but I just dont think hes the man for this program. We have a Baseball team now Justin...can you hit a baseball?

Breaking news. Costa may have re-injured his knee in practice today. So we may be back to just two QB's. Is everybody happy?
Could be minor could be the end of NCAA football for Costa...we just don't know yet. Here is a link for more info.

The Oregonian is notorious for less than stellar reporting. The scrimmage in question had Nate Costa w/ the second string o-line and third string receivers going up against the starting Defense and secondary, when young receivers drop passes and the defense is intimately familiar with your offensive playbook, it's hard not to look a little unprepared. Costa, baring injury will be just fine. With Oregons strong backfield, improvements at wide receiver( J.Will has new glasses!) and a top notch tight-end, the Ducks offensive production wont suffer much. If Costa should go down, the Duck's have options on their bench. This story is just a rag newspaper trying to invent drama where none exists.

Christ relax! This was a newborn, anyone who has had or been around one knows they, well, have little control over such things. I'm sure the child meant no disrespect and to suggest that she will grow up to be a "spoiled ****" as above is foul beyond measure. I seem to recall other past cup winners having their children christened in the cup, do you really believe this kind of "accident" hasn't happen before? Drapes has been a beloved Wing for many years and this tripe has little to say about him or the Detroit squad in respect to class; perhaps it says more about the class, or lack of it, of those who would make a big deal out of something so trivial. Is this all there is to talk about in the NHL?

I've been attending Oregon's spring drills at Autzen and have seen some of Dixon's workouts with my own eyes. He has put on weight and will continue to do so. He look's bigger in person. The knee looks strong and there is no rust on his cannon. Some scouts were said to have asked his agents not to forward video to other scouts who didn't make the trip in person. They like what they see and want to keep it quiet.
